Why Effective Sales Meetings Matter? 👨💼👩💼 In today’s competitive landscape, every sales interaction counts. Effective sales meetings go beyond just pitching; they’re strategic conversations that align solutions with client needs and build long-lasting partnerships. When well-prepared, these meetings allow sales teams to demonstrate value, address specific pain points, and create mutual growth opportunities. A great sales meeting also establishes trust. Clients can sense genuine interest in their success, making them more likely to engage and invest. Moreover, effective meetings provide clarity, reducing follow-ups and accelerating the sales cycle. By prioritizing preparation and personalization, companies can set the stage for meaningful, results-driven interactions that strengthen relationships and drive growth. 🚀💼✨ #SalesSuccess #SalesMeetings #ClientEngagement #BuildingTrust #SalesStrategy #BusinessGrowth #SalesTips #RelationshipBuilding

Weekly thought: the power of structure in sales I recently had one of those days where my to-do list was all over the place. You know the feeling—one minute you’re answering emails, the next you’re on the phone, and by lunchtime, you’re nowhere near the goal you set in the morning. It happens. But when I step back and add a bit of structure to my day, everything starts flowing again. It’s like my brain can finally relax and focus. And then I thought - could this be what happens in sales meetings, too? I’ve often seen sales managers relying on intuition during client meetings. The conversation might feel smooth and pleasant, but in the end, there’s no real value for anyone involved. You gather information, but it doesn’t serve the purpose of helping your client reach their goals. Does that sound familiar? So here are questions that popped into my mind: 💬 What if the key to better results is adding a structure that helps steer the conversation towards success? 💬 What if having a structured approach is the difference between scattered efforts and real progress? I recently experienced something similar during a training with Hovingh & Partners. It wasn’t just another methodology. They used frameworks like DISC, power questions and many more to transform typical sales meetings into real, meaningful conversations that create space for new ideas, collaboration and deeper connections. Could that be that the right structure might help your sales conversations flow more smoothly, turning your time together into something truly impactful and even strengthen relationships? What are your thoughts on that? 👇 #sales #professionalcommunication #salesstrategy #b2bsales

For a handful of clients, I run or support their sales meetings on a fortnightly basis. On a call this week one of the meetings was kicked off by asking "What does everyone want to get out of this meeting?" For some this may seem obvious, however when you run the same meeting, same format with the same people there is a chance most are running on autopilot. Everyone gave specific goals, and these were all achieved by the end of the meeting. I will be using this in my next meetings to ensure everyone is A. Listening B. Thinking beyond the structure Other questions to consider throwing in ad hoc to standard sales meetings: - What is the 1 thing standing in your way of hitting your goal today? - What is one thing you’ve learned from a recent ‘no’ that can help us improve our overall strategy? - If you had an unlimited budget and resources, what would you do differently to drive more leads / opportunities? - If we could wave a magic wand and instantly improve one area of our sales process, what would it be? Any more to throw in? #salesmeeting #salesstrategy #yoursalesco #salestraining
