📌Recapping Q1 Well into 2024 I want to take some time to share how it’s been going so far: The Talent Acquisition team successfully added more than 10 skilled individuals across marketing, sales, and project management teams at Project A Ventures. We've also worked closely with ventures like Inwerk GmbH, Nordwest Gruppe Solar + Neue Energien, Relay Technologies, and yoummday, contributing to their growth through strategic hires and project partnerships. We hosted our first People Horizons #Meetup Series about Navigating AI and Measuring HR Effectiveness. And, of course, we enjoyed team drinks, lunches, and celebrated several birthdays and company anniversaries🎉 We also took some time to focus on the world of #AI, testing and implementing a variety of tools to streamline our processes. This move not only made our lives easier but also enhanced our efficiency in managing data cleanliness — a goal we set for ourselves in 2024. Looking ahead, we're excited for what's to come: - Increasing our hiring efforts and venture collaborations - Organising more industry meetups & collaborations with universities - Planning team events and an off-site These are just a few that come to mind. As we look forward to summer, we're eager to continue our growth, embrace new challenges, and enjoy the sunshine together (especially at the soon-to-come summer party)😉 2024 still has a lot to bring 💪 #TalentAcquisition #TeamGrowth #Recap

As a hi-tech girly for 15 years, I feel I can safely say “we’ve arrived”. 💪💪 The promise our parents made, that if we study, receive a degree that gets us past the interview stage and miraculously get hired at a good company, we’d be set – it actually worked out pretty well. The thing they don’t tell you is that you’ll want more than your parents did. Every generation does. 👶👶 They didn’t factor that into the promise, did they? Don't get me wrong, I'm grateful. 🙏🙏 We've climbed the ladder, the salary's nice, and the work-life balance is pretty sweet too. We enjoy the life style, but our midlife crisis is telling us we have another level to climb. We've conquered the Maslow pyramid - financial security, sure, but what about purpose? Yeah, that cringy word being tossed around. You know, the drive to innovate, to make a real difference? ✨✨ How do we get to that part of our story from our open-space corner office? Here's the thing: We millennials and Gen x built this industry on hustle, but now we crave more than just the next promotion. I mean, that promotion is usually more of a headache than it’s worth, right? We’d prefer to leverage our experience for something bigger, something that ignites that spark again. The question is: How do we find "more" without jumping ship into the self-employment abyss? Maybe it's about internal mobility, finding new challenges within our companies, sure. Perhaps it's mentorship, guiding the next generation of tech minds. Or maybe it's about leveraging our network to make a social impact. Get the dreaming mind working again… Just putting it out there 💡 #MillennialTech #PurposeDriven In the pic: Company fun day at the beach - In our parent's standards this means "We've arrived"

Let's make 2024 the year where candidate experience and employee experience are at the forefront of everybody's mind. Whether you're hiring or downsizing, let's not forget that people will remember us for how we treat them during challenging times. Countless examples of how not to do it in 2023, hopefully there are many lessons learnt. #CandidateExperience #EmployeeExperience #Reputation #BrightboxConsulting

🔍 Solving the Remote/Hybrid Belonging Dilemma: Crafting Culture in Growth 🔧 Workplace Culture Strategist / Experience Designer
I am thrilled to share that I will be speaking at the Embrace Festival at the beginning of June! 🎤✨ Together with me on stage will be Uta Sommer, founder of GOhiring, a company that has been living and breathing a truly remote culture full of trust for over a decade. We will delve into a topic close to my heart: transforming founders’ intentions into a living, thriving company DNA. In our session, "Human Connection Meets Smart Automation - Wachstum mit Kultur im Blick" (yes, I'll be speaking in German, or rather Denglish), we’ll explore: 🔹 The crucial difference between values and a true company DNA. 🔹 Strategies to ensure your founding spirit grows with your team. 🔹 How to design an employee experience that reflects your core identity, without explicitly stating it. If you've ever seen a company’s initial values fade over time, or you're curious about how to keep the founding spark alive as your organization scales, this talk is for you! 🌟 Can’t make it to Embrace or don’t speak German? No worries! DM me and I'd be delighted to share insights from our journey with GOhiring. Stay tuned for more updates and hope to see you there! 🙌 #EF24speaker #EF24 #CompanyCulture #ExperienceDesign

The 5 New Year resolutions that are working for me… At the beginning of the year, everyone shares their New Year resolutions/plans but we often lack clarity on their execution. This is my effort to share what has worked for me & how I’m sustaining my New Year “resolutions”. This year, in the beginning, I decided to be focussed and grateful, aiming to maximise my ROI from life. So, I planned only 5 (which might sound like a lot) key actionable and tactical resolutions — > Minimize reliance on PPTs and emails– putting memory work into action! > Talk more, preach less :)) > Think deeper and cultivate profound thought. > Engage and hang out with cool diverse minds as much as possible. > Do more with less, AKA achieve more with fewer resources— upskill myself wherever needed, do menial tasks to speed up execution, and learn as I go. My motto for the year 2024: ‘It’s never a bad day to learn’ I started with a change in mindset, and so the first step towards achieving my goals was– 🚀Revamping communication: Less reliance on slides and emails means amplifying real-time conversations– seeking a departure from conventional methods. To always push interactive discussions, facilitating collaborative thought processes. 🚀Prioritizing engagement: Shifting from monologues to dialogues is so so important! What to do to champion a culture of active engagement?? Only one answer- Encouraging deep contemplation and collective brainstorming to foster a more inclusive exchange of ideas. 🚀Diversity in interaction: Engaging with diverse minds and meeting new people is always a win– it's amazing what all you can learn from inspiring minds (tried and tested!!) It drives you to learn new perspectives, enabling comprehensive problem-solving and innovative ideation. 🚀Strategic efficiency: "More with less" doesn't just mean resource optimization—it symbolizes strategic precision! It advocates for impactful endeavors that harness efficiency without compromising effectiveness. PS: How’s your 2024 resolution going?? #resolutions #goals #startuplife

With a passion for HR, a focus on people, and a love for tech and data, I strive to build inclusive workplaces that are ready for what's to come and welcoming to all.
Happy New Year! The past three weeks have been a delightful whirlwind - a Christmas cooking marathon with a 9.6 kg turkey, 23 hours of pure board game bliss, 14 hours lost in the world of Assassin's Creed, 8 hours of Lego creativity. And a magical 72-hour escape to Paris. My daily average of 8.6 km walks (okay, I didn't hike every day 😉) recharged my batteries and filled me with fresh perspectives. Plus, my office got a charming little update! Now, I'm thrilled to dive back into work, a year with new adventures and opportunities. I'm kicking off with an exciting new role: "Principal Talent Intelligence." After two years at the helm of the Indeed Idea Center, I'm passing the operational reins to new hands. However, thanks to my recent promotion, I'll stay on the Employer Marketing / Client Engagement team. A heartfelt thank you to Indeed and my leaders for demonstrating how strong bonds are formed and nurtured in a professional setting. Starting as an expert, transitioning into a leadership role, and now evolving into a strategic expert in cross collaboration with many teams, I've had the opportunity to shape and influence our initiatives in profound ways. Here's a glimpse of my new responsibilities: - Executive Engagements & Consulting: Leading key engagements at Idea Center and other executive formats, driving innovation and strategic growth. - Global Community Engagement & Thought Leadership: Enhancing global interactions and collaborations, representing at key events worldwide. - Strategic Advisory: Crafting tailored communication strategies, guiding transformative change as a consultant. - Research, Learning & Content Creation: Promoting a culture of innovation and continuous learning. I'm eager to embark on this journey, embracing each challenge and opportunity. Let's make 2024 a year of growth, innovation, and meaningful connections! #NewYear #NewBeginnings #PrincipalTalentIntelligence #2024 !B personal pictures from Ute Neher: 1. her home office full of color, lego and technical equipment, the Eiffel Tower, a picture of Ute with the Arc de Triomphe, her Christmas Tree and a lego set on construction.

Looking back on my first year at talentX {growth through people} - what a journey it's been! 🎉 Celebrating our 2nd birthday this week, it's been incredible to be part of this team, navigating the ups and downs together. Here are 2 things that helped me grow this year: 1. Remote Work: Being part of a remote-first company has been a game-changer. It's all about the "get-it-done" mindset, no matter where you are. This year, I worked from 4 different locations around the globe while staying connected for important personal moments🌍 2. Adaptability: Change is inevitable in startups, but with the right planning, agility, and communication, we can embrace it head-on. Every challenge was a chance to learn and grow, and I'm grateful for the experiences this year has brought💪 Here's to another year of growth ✨ If you want to learn more about our journey over the past year, check out our latest blog: https://lnkd.in/drWyK8Dw #talentX #remotework #startuplife
