So today marks 3 years since Vivo Clean offcially went live. Has it been easy? Hell to the no. Countless sleepless nights, blood, sweat, tears (literally). I will say though... Scaling Vivo Clean alongside Clare, from a noble Oven Clean (which actually took place a couple weeks after we went live) to the position we are in now (see below*). Is my proudest achievement in life. I often sit there and wish my late father was still with us. My hero, who taught me how to be a man. He would be ASTOUNDED that I am running a cleaning business. Based off the condition of my bedroom as a teenager of course. --- *- 75 plus members of staff (and counting) - Our very own office (with a boardroom, OoOoO swanky) - 7 figure annual revenues - A brand created - Vans/radio/uniforms can all be spotted in Suffolk and beyond. --- The last 3 years both personally and professionally have been by far and away the most challenging of my life. I have had days/weeks/months when it feels like shit is hitting the fan in my personal life and within business all at the same time, from 100 different bastard angles. Do I regret setting up a business? No. For all of the stresses, I enjoy the accountability. Running a business isn't a 9-5. In fact, i've had occasions when friends or colleagues hear i've left the office at 2pm and i'm at home and it's a clear belief that this business owner is living on easy street. Absolutely not. It is 24-7. As we progress, I will try to be kind to myself and allow time to switch off. However, there's no getting away from it. I absolutely love it. I've made a shit tonne of mistakes, i've got a few things right... All part of the journey I suppose! Thank you to my LinkedIn network who have supported me and Vivo Clean through this journey to our 3rd birthday. I have engaged with soem incredible people on here and I absolutely love seeing the progress of my peers professionaly. Thanks for listening to my waffle. George.
