Take a look at the first chapter of "Ciudades en Terapia" in HBO Max. Thank you Warner Bros. Discovery (and, in particular, Nicolás Mc Cormack, Armando Victoria, Juan Pablo Montejo, and Josué de Luna) for having done such a great job at describing the challenges faced by the electromobility ecosystem in Latin America, and how we at VEMO are doing our very best to accelerate it, not in 2030, but today. Latin America has a big issue in terms of carbon emissions and poor air quality, with, for instance, +150m people living in cities below World Health Organization's air quality guidelines. Apart from seeing an opportunity to address this issue in the transportation sector, since day one we thought electromobility had the added (more romantic) benefit of being something tangible for everyone, which could inspire and give hope that fighting climate change and air pollution was possible. We felt that electric vehicles could connect, raise awareness, and become a catalyst in people's daily lives... which is critical to start scoring goals and reverting a game we are losing by a landslide. Seeing Warner Bros. Discovery interested in sharing our story is a testament that we managed to somewhat succeed at connecting and inspiring people. Congrats to the whole VEMO team as well as to our partners and clients. We are all part of this courageous story, where we are fighting together with an unbelievable strong sense of purpose.
