Design as a process is a systematic, iterative approach to problem-solving that involves several key stages. This process can be applied to various fields, including industrial design, architecture, graphic design, software development, and more. Today design as language has been taking turns into more or less redesigning an existing product. Finding a problem or speaking innovation through observation is more appropriate. We as designers observe silently and want to make changes to human lives without even knowing the users that is a good design and a perfect implementation. Here is some gap that has been identified in kids' shoe design there is a huge market, the shoes look beautiful but none are as comfortable either to wear or for the babies who are taking their first steps.lets see how can we approach the problem. PROTOTYPE TO PRODUCT As designers, we often get so used to looking at our work on screen that the context of scale and size may get sidelined. That is where proto-making comes in handy. The prototype/mockup, when crafted to closely resemble the real product, becomes a powerful communication tool within the design team and with stakeholders. Therefore we don't mind getting our hands dirty to validate our design decisions and make further refinements. Hello, everyone, I wish you all a great week. I start my design process with sketches, and in this regard, I may be a bit old-fashioned. Developing the idea of a designer working with sketches will contribute greatly. Thought requires action, so create that sketch at that moment. It's not crucial for the drawing to be perfect; it's something that can be improved. We're not in school anymore; what matters in professional life is the reality, feasibility, and purpose of your ideas. Sometimes, venturing into different areas of product development will bring about entirely different engineering designs. As designers, we will always collaborate with experienced individuals from various fields to bring our ideas to life. For the past four months, we've been working with Vizcom all our projects, and we're very happy with the speed at which we can reach results. We can quickly update our presentations from various angles. Vizcom seamlessly combines the old and the new, and it works excellently with 3D models. This program will be widely used in fields such as architecture, design, automotive, fashion design, and more. In the future, my expectation is that there will be a transition from sketches to technical documentation, which will change everything. Let's not forget that we've been using these programs for years. In the future, we should use and support the methods in which humans are involved in the process. No one should worry; when computers first emerged, people said it would lead to unemployment, but today, humanity has made significant progress, and we're working with processors and quantum computers. The past few months at Harvoxx Tech Hub have been quiet impactful,we learnt a lot.I have gained more experience in product design. We were given the insight of the basic principles of design,which are which are: BALANCE, HIERARCHY, CONTRAST, EMPHASIS, REPETITION and WHITE SPACE. Personally,I don't joke with EMPHASIS and HIERARCHY,infact I can say I pay attention more to these two principles. I will further explain them and showing you some designs that illustrated them further PS the designs are still work in progress. Emphasis-is a focal point or main element to guide the viewer's attention. Hierachy on the other hand is organizing elements to establish a clear order of importance and guide the viewer's understanding i.e the first thing the user sees when e opens an application or a web either by words or images.
