My one-year anniversary with CSG Talent has recently passed so I thought it would be the ideal time to share what we’ve achieved in Manchester, what I’ve learnt about our business, and of course what’s in store for the next 12 months. 𝗧𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗠𝗖𝗥 𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 - Headcount up by 75% - with some superstars in the making ⭐ - Year on year sales up 41% ⬆ - Record monthly sales 💸 - We outgrew an office and move into an amazing new one 🏣 - 2 promotions 🤓 - A culture created that is 2nd to non 🤩 𝗖𝗦𝗚 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 - We’ve got a lot of exceptional billers 💰 - Our Marketing, TA, L&D, HR, and Finance functions contain some of the best people I’ve had the pleasure of working with 🤝 - The tech-stack we have is ridiculous 👨💻 - The right type flexible working approach really can deliver great results 💲 - We provide mega development and relocation opportunities 🛩 - How much a leadership team can truly achieve in 90-day sprints by using a great operating model 💹 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 - simply more of the same…..watch this space! 🚀

🎉 Celebrating 10 Years at Nokia! 🎉 I’m thrilled to share the invaluable lessons and core values that have shaped my journey during this remarkable decade. From my humble beginnings as an LTE Test Engineer to my current role in Quality Management for 5G Customer Support, I’ve had the privilege of wearing different hats within Nokia. Here are some key takeaways regardless of the roles I held: #1 Success Beyond Metrics:  Success isn’t just about hitting targets; it’s about fostering a positive atmosphere and mindset within teams and among stakeholders. When we prioritize collaboration overpressure, long-term achievements follow like a snowball effect. #2 The Power of Relationships:  I’ve maintained and cultivated connections with colleagues I met at the start of my Nokia adventure. These relationships, now holding influential positions, remain timeless. Trust me, the magic lies in leveraging these bonds to enhance effectiveness at work. #3 Breaking Silos:  While internal goals matter, aligning with the broader business objectives is crucial. Avoid tunnel vision - reconsider and adapt. Customer satisfaction and overall success depend on it. #4 Effective Communication:  No one knows everything, but understanding who does what is essential. Respect the diverse perspectives of stakeholders. Tailor your message to their values and priorities. #5 Cultural Nuances:  Whether communicating with Anglo-Saxon or Asian counterparts, cultural differences matter. The DISC model reminds me of my yellow-green tendencies, but I appreciate that enthusiasm varies. Incremental learning and adaptable communication techniques make us masters. #6 Balance Sparks Brilliance:  Work-life balance isn’t a buzzword; it’s a productivity booster. My best process improvements often emerge after outdoor activities - fresh air fuels creativity. Prioritize both professional growth and personal well-being. These insights aren’t just theoretical; they’ve become an integral part of my journey. Life is in transitions and now it's my turn. I joined Worten Portugal in 2016 to set up the Strategy team. Later the Controlling and Corporate Risk teams were added. It has been a journey of fast learning, exciting challenges, and often tough battles. Looking back, I realize how lucky I have been to witness and contribute to the amazing development of Worten and its remarkable successes. I am very proud of what we have all achieved as a team so far: 📌 We have increased our turnover by more than 40%, moving beyond the core area of electronics and becoming increasingly digitalized 📌 We have acquired new companies, namely iServices, Zaask and Satfiel, which accelerate our growth and bring the right skills and expertise to the table 📌 We have strengthened our geographical reach, from Portugal and Spain to France and Belgium, with more to come 📌 We are an enthusiastic and young in mind team with lots of energy and motivation to achieve our goals and overcome the challenges that lie ahead I will miss Worten so much! Changes are bittersweet: leaving is hard but I am also so looking forward to the new role I will be taking on at SONAE as Head of Investor Relations. Change brings uncertainty, but that's what adds color to life – an opportunity to learn, to do things differently, to meet other people and other perspectives, to experiment and to test ourselves. #newchallenge #careers

As I reflect on the past 8 months at Genesys, it’s incredible to see how much can change in such a short time. Before joining, my career had followed a steady upward path—learning and growth with each role, alongside consistent promotions. However, I then encountered my first major setback. I found myself in a role where, despite delivering on sales numbers and being surrounded by great people, it just wasn’t the right fit for me. It felt like I’d gone from being on top of my game to facing challenges I couldn’t overcome—working for an international business with constant change and limited tools that made it hard to execute effectively. Ultimately, I made the difficult decision to leave that role and join Genesys—and it’s been a game-changer. Setbacks, while tough, often help us see things clearly. They force us to reflect, understand where things went wrong, and find the courage to change direction. In the 8 months since joining Genesys, I’ve had the chance to build our gaming proposition, develop a sales strategy, and work with various internal teams to create impactful marketing content, from our new landing page to a professional video (soon to be released) and other digital assets. I’m also incredibly excited to be hosting an event this week, where nearly 20 of the world’s largest operators will come together to hear about the value and innovation we’re bringing to the gaming sector. I’m so grateful to Genesys for the opportunity to make a real impact.
