As an Automotive Marketing Product Specialist I would have advised this commercial to reconsider how they treat pedestrian crosswalks. I have some notes. https://lnkd.in/gWpijiug At :09 the Camry drives through a crosswalk without stopping. I’m splitting hairs but it’s not established there was a green light and in the context of the clouded, low visibility roads, this does not look safe to me. At :24 the talent exits and crosses the street at a crosswalk they are parked adjacent to. States and Municipalities may vary in required minimum distance however 15-20 feet seems to be the theme. It is very likely this Camry could be ticked as parked. But I will say at least the light was green at :15 as they are at :19, way in the background. As the car is using the road as a one way street, you would not expect the lights to face the other way. It may be possible we are driving the wrong way on a one way, or simply on the wrong side of a two way street.
