Banksy’s “Exit Through The Gift Shop” is aptly named. Everywhere you go, you see merchandise. Merch has become the lifeblood for museums, zoos, airports, tourist boards, sporting arenas… even nightclubs. In some businesses, up to 1/3 of their revenue is merch. Immersive experience businesses are really 1/3 retail. In Web3 - every brand has merch. You can’t go to a crypto conference without wading through crowds of tribal merch wearers - what chain you support is a statement. Also - no one wants low quality merch, uncool merch, overpriced merch, gimmicky merch… We are investing time in making EPIC merch. 👌 Niche merch is cool. Men ( more than women ) have wardrobes full of event t-shirts and hats. The places they go become part of their identity!
