Thanks Louise 😃 I had the pleasure of actively participating in Group AMANA internship and #Emiratization program. There is a great talent within the Emirati youth, and with the right opportunities, their potential can truly shine, making the future look bright. Interacting with the new joiners and interns, I tried focusing on some "uncommon" skills. The incredibly powerful tool of #activelistening to understand the others, focusing on the present moment without distraction. I conducted specific training on this, and people loved it! How mastering own emotions and understanding those of the people around you through #emotionalintelligence can drive success for everyone involved. The importance of communication, building trust, and fostering relationships with active #teambuilding. Working together as a team is often more productive than sitting alone in front of your laptop all day. I emphasized the importance of #understandingcontracts, whether it's a tenancy agreement, a mortgage, a construction contract or the privacy policy of a new app. Knowing what rights and obligations you have is a crucial skill in any discipline. This experience made me realize that it is also critical to recognize the revolutionary force that Gen. Z brings to the workplace. Consider the attitude of new Olympic athletes, whether they win or not—they are generally humble, appreciative of the experience, and thankful for the opportunity. What are your thoughts about this?

At Group AMANA we are thrilled to celebrate our first two interns, Sarah and Marwa, who have successfully completed our two-month internship program. Their dedication and enthusiasm were celebrated in a small ceremony, marking the beginning of many more such milestones. This program has not only benefited Sara and Marwa by providing them with real-world experience and valuable skills but also enriched our company with fresh perspectives and innovative ideas. Special thanks to their managers and mentors, Ritta Hussam Elkassem and Andrea D'Ettorre whose guidance and support were instrumental in their development. We are excited about the possibility of welcoming Sara and Marwa back next year into our full-time graduate program after they complete their studies. As they continue their educational journey, we hope they carry forward the learnings and experiences gained during their time with us. Guess who I recently interviewed? Meet ⭐ Tatiana Bystrykh– the driving force behind our internship programs at Vention. Tatsiana plays a crucial role as our Lab Coordinator, providing invaluable support to our young talents throughout their internship journey. Interested in learning about our interns' journey and the impact our mentors play in their development? Then, here a peek behind the curtain: 🎙️: "At the start of our internship program, our managers provide clear recommendations and share their expectations with interns. Many are recent graduates or in their final year of studies 🎓, so they may lack practical experience in professional environments and understanding the importance of meeting deadlines, especially in client interactions. This is where I step in to underscore the significance of these aspects. Once interns are briefed and oriented, our managers engage them in real-world challenges. They may work directly with a manager who also acts as their mentor or with separate professionals filling these roles. This approach extends beyond teaching technical skills; it emphasizes developing soft skills, such as ⭐ Slava Matveev's mentoring contributions. 📌 A key point to mention here is that our mentors undergo specialized training to ensure they are effective in their roles. Not everyone can become a mentor; they undergo mentorship courses led by 📚 Natalya Atoyan and Tatsiana Sachuk and are evaluated regularly. ⭐ Albina Pavlova's journey from intern to mentor in our Lab Program exemplifies the effectiveness of this training, highlighting her growth and success within our organization. Finally, after successfully completing our internship program and finding a suitable project, interns are considered for permanent positions within the company 💼. We encourage interns to think critically and find solutions 💡 to unconventional problems, preparing them to succeed independently in the real world and effectively engage with clients." #Vention_Interviews #VentionTeam #JoinUs #InternshipAtVention

🌟 Breaking Stereotypes About Interns: #empowerment and #trust in Action! 🌟 At our company, we believe that everyone has the potential to achieve great things, regardless of their career stage. Our core values of empowerment, trust and respect are at the heart of everything we do, and we would like to share the stories of two exceptional interns who have embodied these values and shown that trust and support can lead to amazing results. 🔹 Artsiom Rodchanka - 💡During his internship at thyssenkrupp Group Services Gdańsk Sp. z o.o., Artsiom not only met all expectations but also proactively supported the team during PoC for asset retirement process optimization, he not only offered but also created a script for secure data deletion, this was the main idea on which the whole concept was based, and it succeeded! 💡 🔹 Anhelina Pauliuchak - ✍ Angelina demonstrated exceptional motivation and diligence, often exceeding expectations. Her ability of paying attention to details was unbelievable. She particularly stood out in the task of asset inventory, i mean... not a single error in the hundreds of records in Excel sheets? how is that even possible? i think for a long time there will be no one even close to this achievement. ✍ These stories are proof that our commitment to empowerment, trust and respect can transform interns into key team members. We are proud to support young talents and help them develop their potential. 👨🏫 And last but no least, lots of credit should go to Aleksander Pierzchała, for taking great care of Artsiom and Angelina during their internship journey, not only passing them so much valuable knowledge, but actually including them in real life day-to-day cases. 👏 BIG thanks from my side! #Empowerment #Trust #InternshipSuccess #BreakingStereotypes #CareerGrowth #tkGSGAmbassadors

🌟 Celebrating the Closing Event of the CEU Internship Program in Prague! 🌟 Last week we celebrated the successful conclusion of the CEU Internship Program in Prague! 🎉 This program has been an incredible growth, learning, and collaboration journey for both our interns and the CEU Management. The CEU Internship Program has provided our organization with a unique opportunity to engage with the minds of Gen Z. The interns have challenged our management to think outside the box, bringing fresh perspectives, innovative ideas, and a renewed energy to our workplace. For the interns, this program has been a transformative experience. They have had the chance to bridge the gap between theory and practice, putting their knowledge and skills into action. The opportunity to see their work come to life has been both rewarding and empowering. Through social learning, teamwork, and cooperation in the office, interns have developed essential soft skills vital for success in today's workplace. Moreover, the program has significantly increased the interns' confidence by taking on real responsibilities and delivering tangible results. A big thanks for your presentations: Farwa Babar, Ashwin Upadhyay, Sumit Dubey, Tanaka Musesengwe and Aneta Močková, also Petra Sochacka for leading the program. As we bid farewell to this year's CEU Internship Program in Prague, let's celebrate the achievements, friendships, and memories created. I do not doubt that the skills, experiences, and connections gained during this program will serve as a solid foundation for the interns' future endeavors. #CEUInternshipProgram #ClosingEvent #GenZ #DHLExpress

Last week, we said goodbye to Gabija Skaudickaitė, our intern who’s been brightening up the office with her energy and curiosity. Currently in her final year at ISM, she’s writing a thesis on how election cycles impact deforestation in Brazil. During her time with us, Gabija explored various areas beyond her core focus in brand & strategy, diving into whatever caught her interest. Next up? She’s eyeing a master’s abroad, focusing on creativity, strategy, and sustainability. Before she left, we asked her to reflect on her time at Synthesis and the lessons she learned here - lessons that, as we say in Lithuania, she (hopefully) won’t have to carry on her shoulders. HOW DID YOUR DAYS AS AN INTERN LOOKED LIKE? Each day was different and always fun - my internship was pretty dynamic, with various tasks each day, especially since I attended lectures twice a week. I’d usually start the first half of the day with lighter tasks, and after lunch, I’d dive into the more challenging ones. WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BEING A STUDENT AND AN INTERN? At university, I often felt like just another face in the crowd. In contrast, as an intern, I felt that my opinions mattered and I had the freedom to express my personality in creative ways. While there were guidelines in the internship, they allowed for enough flexibility to think outside the box, unlike the stricter rules I encountered at university. WHAT DID YOU FIND UNUSUAL DURING YOUR INTERNSHIP? Collecting TikTok data - some trends were funny, while others… let’s just say they raised quite a few questions for me. WHAT IS THE MOST VALUABLE LESSON YOU’VE LEARNED? Focus on one task at a time instead of trying to do everything at once, as this can lead to mediocre outcomes. Also, don’t hesitate to ask for help; mistakes are a natural part of the learning process. WHAT WILL YOU MISS THE MOST? The routine, a unique office with its garden and sauna, and inspiring colleagues. Every conversation taught me something valuable. I’ll miss working on exciting projects with such talented people. WHICH CREATIVE PIECE WILL REMIND YOU OF YOUR INTERNSHIP? “Set It Off” by Strafe - it was my go-to song to start almost every morning!

When I was recently contacted by the PRCA to recommit to our pledge on paying interns, it made me wonder: what sort of company does not pay interns? We have had a fully salaried intern recruitment position annually for more than a decade and have used this globally to bring in lots of interns to the business and to train them either to stay with us (great) or to move on in their careers. We've had the pleasure of paying interns to learn their trade with us, and have provided a great springboard for other businesses to benefit from the training we give our staff if they move on later. This is a win/win for us, for interns, for future employers. Why would anyone not pay a fair salary to somebody who is working for their organization? Personally I do not feel it is fair to ask anyone to work for our business without payment for their services. I guess when all companies pay, it will be more of a level paying field, but if companies continue not to pay, there is a continued expectation that this is about 'taking advantage'. We've employed a great cohort of interns over the years, and I would be embarrassed to have taken advantage of their wish to 'get on the ladder'. So The Scott Partnership Ltd has only ever paid its interns and will continue to do so into the future. #internships #intern #B2Bmarketing #B2BPR PRWeek
We’re proud to support PRCA and PRWeek UK’s campaign to end unpaid internships. We have always made it a company policy to pay anyone who works for us, and our #intern programme – in place for more than a decade – was an inevitable place to implement this. As a business we proudly bring interns in as part of our employment and growth strategy, and anyone who works for the business is paid accordingly. Clients pay us, we pay staff. That is the way in our world. This has been a long-standing business belief, and we are proud to support PRCA and PRWeek in this area. Find out more: https://lnkd.in/dq-KMR2J
