In Queensland’s Surat Basin, our rig and well servicing crews work diligently to support clients to deliver reliable and affordable energy. Recently Senex Energy celebrated the official opening of its Surat Basin facility in Queensland, a project we have played a key role in supporting, and one that will support domestic manufacturing across the east coast for years to come. Ventia’s Executive General Manager Rig and Well Services Kyle Koziol acknowledged the contribution of our people to the milestone project. “This is a significant milestone for Senex and for Queensland and I’m proud of our team who have supported them to achieve this,” Kyle said. “Between 2020 and 2024 our Rig 27 crew has drilled and completed more than 100 wells in the Atlas field, providing the best-in-class service we are renowned for. “Importantly, as local businesses in the region we recognise the importance of supporting local communities and providing flow-on economic benefits from our operations.
