The future arrival of quantum computers will threaten encryption mechanisms in place to protect existing data and systems. Some key things to ask yourself when preparing for post-quantum cryptography are: 👉 Do you have an inventory of sensitive and critical datasets? 👉 Do you have an inventory of systems using cryptographic technologies? 👉 Do you know which systems in your inventory rely on public key cryptography? 👉 Have you determined the priority order for quantum vulnerable systems to be transitioned from classical cryptography to post-quantum cryptography?
