If you're in the digital marketing field, this is a must-read. Google has previously signaled that the future is one without third-party cookie tracking, and, it seems like this year, that change is finally happening. As we consider our marketing programs, it's important to plan for the implications of this shift. If you rely on third-party conversion tracking systems or third-party audience targeting, there's a very good chance that these will become severely impaired or obsolete. The good news is that these changes shouldn't significantly impact programs managed using first-party data. If you view CRM data or app production data as the source of truth for marketing performance, you're likely well-prepared. If this is worrisome, feel free to shoot me a note. We've spent the last 9 years figuring out how to manage campaigns utilizing first-party data for both lead generation and ecommerce programs. You don't want to be caught off guard with this change. https://lnkd.in/gJdxJb88
