I have recently been watching a docu-series, World Eats Bread (on Hotstar, a Nat Geo special). This is an interesting take on how staple food items form the basis of our cultural fabrics. Countries like Turkey & Guatemala, as well as cities like San Francisco, prize their staple table items of Sourdough, Simit, Pide and Tortillas. This got me thinking: Our food defines our culture and, to a large extent, us. We can learn a lot from the food we eat on how we should live: B-rotherhood:- Forming bonds with others to break bread together. To share and support one another in times of need and in happiness. R-ustic:- Grounded to reality and returning to our roots for all the answers. E-quality:- Everyone, rich and poor, consumes the same. Our food brings us all to an equal footing. A-cceptance:- Bread takes on the flavour of whatever it is with while still having an identity of its own. Acceptance of different viewpoints is welcome while still maintaining our individuality. D-iversity:- Food is the uniting factor across diverse groups. While we may have different cultures, each culture has some form of bread which brings everyone together. We all can benefit from absorbing some of the qualities of the food we eat, apart from the nutritional values they provide :) Note: Pic is AI Generated.

The infamous Willy "McDuff" (read Wonka) experience in Glasgow was a magnificent example of how not to use AI. It led to a lot of heartbroken children, angry parents and was a complete disaster from start to finish. Now the script, from the event, has been leaked online. https://lnkd.in/e9JBVkDe It's the perfect example of AI + imagination delivering totally unfeasible results, with stage directions only really able to be achieved by extremely high-budget theatre. Let this be a warning to everyone using AI - you can't rely on it to just generate out everything you want! You still have to apply common sense to the results.
