Inside, you can see remarkably fine structures that are only 20 micrometers in size. 💡The answer: the next-generation inkjet ink by Heraeus Epurio. This is a synergy of silver nanowires and Epurio's conductive polymer, designed to print highly transparent electrode structures for applications such as solar cells, OLEDs, and photodetectors. Look at this unique grouping of three small 3D concrete printed prototype homes in Japan! Built by Serendix, Japan's first 3D-printing home manufacturer. One 107 square foot structure, the "Sphere," was constructed in under 24 hours in March 2022, according to Serendix. A year later Serendix printed its second house, nicknamed the "Fujitsubo," which translates to "barnacle," a single-story 527-square-foot home that has one bedroom, one bathroom, a living room and a kitchen that assertedly took only 44 hours to print! More info. and photos in this Business Insider article: https://lnkd.in/g-HamV9Y The midsize "Tilikum-3" mobile printer made by Twente Additive Manufacturing, or TAM (Enschede, Overijssel, Netherlands) was chosen by Serendix to 3D print a portion of this groundbreaking project. The Tilikum-3 is a midsize 7-axis robotic arm mobile printing unit on a 6 meter flatbed trailer with 3.2 meter reach and a configurable linear track with 4.7 to 14.7 meters of travel. And it can do the quarter mile to the job site in a half minute, leaving tractor trailers loaded with trusses in its smoke! If you want to learn more about the Serendix Project or their use of TAM's Tilikum-3 printer, give TAM's Director of Operations and Business Development Orsi Benkoczi a call. But don't count on catching her in Twente. Meeting the increasing demand for TAM's quality lineup of small, medium and large 3D concrete printers has become a true globe-trotting endeavor!
