Maximizing Corporate Performance | Enhancing Organizational Development | Unlocking Human Potential | Driving Strategic Success
"Let's talk about the power of giving back to our community. It's not just about making a difference, it's about creating a ripple effect of positive change. As professionals, we are often focused on climbing the ladder of success and achieving personal goals. But let's not forget the importance of giving back to the community that has supported us along the way. Whether it's volunteering our time or simply lending a helping hand to someone in need, giving back has a profound impact on both the giver and the receiver. It not only brings joy and fulfillment, but it also strengthens the bonds within our community. Moreover, when we give back, we inspire others to do the same. Imagine the collective impact we can create by encouraging a culture of giving in our workplaces and networks. Let's lead by example and show that success isn't just about what we achieve, but also about how we contribute to the greater good. So let's make a conscious effort to give back to our community, no matter how big or small. Together, we can make a difference and create a better world for all. #communitylove #spreadkindness #makeadifference #giving #community

Nonprofit executive with significant experience in fundraising, program design, strategy, change management, staff oversight, and partnership development
I never liked April Fool's Day, so I appreciate that I can now celebrate April 1st in a different way as it marks the beginning of #GlobalVolunteerMonth. #Volunteering is proven to build connections, remove divisiveness, and is a powerful way to give back to your #community. Whether you are activating Good Deeds Day, supporting your kids #school, or using #skilledbasedvolunteering via Taproot Foundation's online platform, there are many ways to give back. So, no joke...make #April your #volunteer month.

What did we love about Kuttan or Manjummel Boys? They volunteered to rescue their friend (Subash), who fell into a cave, even when the trained professionals were doubtful. They may have volunteered even if it wasn't their friend. What happens when you volunteer to help those in need? You are seen as a light from God. Just like how Subash saw Kuttan, when Kuttan entered the cave to save him. Though Manjummel Boys talked more about true friendship, what we saw in it was the boys’ selflessness. We need more films like these! You want to help those in need but need to know how? Did you know that 40% of 11 year-olds in England from communities facing disadvantage leave primary school unable to read to the expected standard? Through Chapter One UK , a number of my colleagues and I are volunteering online for 30 minutes a week to help children facing disadvantage improve their reading skills. The whole experience is so rewarding. If you get the opportunity, I highly recommend taking part. chapterone.org #volunteersweek #chapteronevolunteer #employeevolunteering #onlinevolunteering #corporatepartnerships #employeewellbeing #socialvalue

"Once you get involved, it becomes a friendship and a relationship, and it's something that you find very easy to commit to. There is a lot of reward for yourself, as well as the partner you're with." - Remo, Volunteer with the Matching Program for 6 years The Matching Program pairs people with disabilities or Friends, with volunteers or Allies. When you volunteer, you are making a profound impact by reducing loneliness and isolation, increasing self-confidence, and improving the overall mental and physical health of people with disabilities in the community.
