Our programmes at VWG Consulting have employed online metering systems for close to a decade. For this we've used service providers. This year we decided to get into the space ourselves and invested in our own online metering platform. We have chosen to start with water metering, but will extend that to include energy, process parameters and a range of efficiency dashboards that will integrate online metering and resource efficiency engineering, giving customers access to data they can actively use to drive efficient usage of water, energy and materials. We won't just measure usage, we'll measure the things that drive usage. And we'll have all of this data on a secure, single platform. We have called our platform EFFICIENCYTRAK and it is the final phases of testing. Included in our offerings will be "Metering as a Service", a way to access metering data on a subscription basis without having to purchase the meters themselves. Customers can however still purchase meters if they wish to own them, as is the traditional way of providing this service. As with our improvement programmes, we're completely flexible.
