That’s exactly it! She couldn’t take it anymore, so we both figured it was best she leaves.” “Nah,” I said, “she didn’t leave, they pushed her out. But good for her—getting out of there was the best decision!” This, folks, is what we call “Quiet Firing”. It’s not obvious like getting laid off, and it’s definitely not about quitting voluntarily. It’s a sneaky game where management makes your job so unbearable that you feel like leaving is the only option. And you know the root cause?
