This past weekend, Vorys participated in VeloSano Bike to Cure 2024 to benefit cancer research at the Cleveland Clinic. Team Vorys included bikers Marcel Duhamel, Bryan Falk and Aaron Williams, with Bradley T. (Brad) Miller, Danielle Lopez, Sandy Vasquez and Jessica Mussehl as volunteers. Thanks to all who supported, volunteered and cheered on Team Vorys.

On Friday, August 30, 2024, Pennsylvania’s Office of Development Programs (ODP) published final fee schedule rates for services provided under Pennsylvania’s Medicaid waiver programs to individuals with intellectual disabilities and/or autism. Most of the rates become effective immediately with a retroactive date to July 1, 2024, while a smaller subset of the rates will take effect on October 1, 2024. We’re excited to welcome Mike Gibbons to the firm. He joined the firm this month as an associate in the Cleveland office and a member of the firm's finance, energy and real estate group. He is a corporate attorney whose practice focuses on commercial real estate and mergers and acquisitions. Mike regularly assists with the purchase and sale of commercial real estate, including the drafting, negotiating and review of documents related to commercial real estate acquisitions, construction and dispositions, including purchase and sale agreements, due diligence reports, ancillary agreements, schedules, closing checklists, and title and survey analysis. He received his J.D. from the Case Western Reserve University School of Law. Mike also received his MBA from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management and his bachelor of economics from Kenyon College. Vorys announced today that Li Zhu (Li Z.) has joined the firm as a partner in the Vorys Washington, D.C. office. She has nearly 20 years of experience helping businesses from a variety of industries develop anti-counterfeiting and brand protection strategies with a focus on both the U.S. and in China.
