Why do you think I only talk to Gaucho Group Holdings, Inc. This website is full of people who are fronting to get money that inflates anyway because they don't want to compete. Investing in value early is hard. It takes a lot of time. Self-taught. "What advice would you give to a CFO with an eye on eventually becoming a CEO? Shea: I always use the analogy of the Tour de France. There’s only one person that wears the yellow jersey. And there’s really seven races inside of the race. There’s the hill climber, the sprinter. As a CEO, you need to be in the top 5% of every one of those sub-races that are going on in the business. You need to be good enough at sales and can present yourself in front of a customer and have the respect of the sales team. You need to understand product and be able to have a conversation with your engineers or with your product development teams. You need to be able to sit down and understand the needs of the people that work in the company and the culture. You don’t have to be the best in every one of those sections, but if you’re going to wear that yellow jersey, you have to have the respect and the knowledge of each of the core areas of the company, and help drive that unified vision with that depth of knowledge being a top tier player in each of the main areas of the business."
