A MEMORY FOR TODAY
Thanks for all you have given us to enrich out lives - economic enriching spin-offs and breakthroughs, the enrichment of so many engineering, technology and scientific US minds, the astronauts- some of whom in the original Mercury 7, to Gemini and Skylab, through the Apollo, Viking Mars, Voyager Missions, Space Shuttle, ISS, until today have provided DARPA, the government, government agencies, airlines, schools, nonprofits, the largest Fortune 500s, the commercial space/UAV, unmanned spacecraft and deep space missions, and the smallest most promising technology and IT/VR/AI/ML startups, even quantum computers and quantum studies …
THEY ARE ALL HERE BECAUSE EISENHOWER THEN JFK STARTED THE US SPACE PROGRAM CALLED—-NASA
Today, during the Nixon Administration an Ohio boy (no not John Glenn) Neil Armstrong — on this day 55 years ago — boarded Apollo 11 to be the first Terra (earth) mission to another planet- the Moon. God speed the current generation of space travelers on rocket engines that are powerful enough to launch their missions to other planets.
