As AI continues to evolve, there's a common misconception that it possesses human-like intelligence. Yet the reality is that AI is simply good at understanding patterns and repurposing human-generated content. This is evident in LLM "hallucinations," where the focus is on providing a response to a query within a short timeframe, rather than taking the time to "think" through the answer (although, let's be reasonable: there are plenty of humans with Dunning-Kruger who will do exactly the same!). Let's all keep in mind the distinction between "thinking" and "responding" when it comes to AI! #AI #technology #intelligence #LLMhallucinations
