We are one month into the #Maress Decarb Summer Campaign. We are excited to experience the engagement and development of the campaign, where more than 300 vessels have committed to see how much CO2 can be saved this Summer. 4 vessels and crews in particular deserve some extra recognition for their June performance. 1moThis is a great playful competition with purpose. Stepping ahead of the regulations and do what can be done for the environmental protection. Many of the offshore vessels have installed SCR systems for NOx reduction, this mainly happened with the support of the Norwegian Næringslivets NOx-fond. How about adding the NOx emissions in that competition? A lot of vessels are below IMO regulated Tier III emission limits and this is a huge improvement in the air quality - even if this is not CO2 😉
