Every year, diamond miners emit millions of tons of carbon dioxide. That is more than the annual emissions of some countries. Every VRAI created diamond begins in our zero-emission foundry, grown from the first atom with 100% renewable energy. #labgrowndiamonds #VRAI VRAI created diamonds, truly forever: https://bit.ly/3GUGqQw
If your numbers are correct, I can infer that 1 carat of natural diamonds=108.5 kg of synthetic CO2. OR 108.5 kg of synthetic CO2 = 0.2g of pure C (Natural Diamond). So, natural diamonds are made from 108.5 kg of synthetic CO2? Is this math correct?

4moI have no reason to question whether the numbers presented by Vrai are correct. As a brand builder focused on LGD brands, I have come to the conclusion that it is inappropriate for a seller of LGD (which Vrai and Diamond Foundry do, one grows and one retails) to have to carry the burden of educating consumers about the pros (and cons) of LGD versus natural diamonds. In my opinion, it demeans the brand. With the best of intention, Vrai will be accused of being biased. I am aware that in the absence of a unified voice for LGD most LGD sellers feel the need to plug LGD. Almost every LGD website make green claims. Many are unsubstantiated because we do not know details about their supply chain. I would urge the creation of a LGD Council to undertake generic promotion of LGD using substantiated data. Vrai can focus on communicating its own USP and why it offers the “best” LGD and avoid natural bashing. This is a fine distinction but however true the Vrai claims, it will be criticized for being self serving. No single brand should carry the burden of promoting the LGD category alone. Let’s create an LGD Council to do that professionally and objectively. For the greater good.
