Took some junior level Android Engineer ~3+ months to get 2 xml files into prod at Walmart Global Tech and he got paid like $30k-$45k while sitting around joining meetings and and accomplishing practically nothing. He was so proud of "contributing to prod". The work he accomplished would take a normal Android dev 1-2 days. And people don't think DEI is an issue. Fortunes are moving into the pockets of non-Americans. People don't understand its not really only about DEI either. It's about American Citizens being systematically economically sabotaged for years. Tech started moving towards large CI/CD and/or QA systems half a decade ago, even for small companies that don't need them. This would be fine if it didn't require 2-3x the amount of "engineers" to manage/maintain, and if most of those engineers were from America. But they never are. They are almost all from overseas, working remotely or on h1b1. Money is flowing away from the USA that doesn't need to, all because we're living in a socially deranged society that wants to virtue signal to the world that we are good people, while simultaneously sabotaging our own peoples' prosperity. Large corporations could easily train American citizens to do the jobs they are hiring for out-of-country, but that's not the objective of these designs. The objective is to move money out of country on a massive scale. To move money away from America. To take money from American citizens. By design. It's not Corporate Economic Sabotage, it's National Economic Sabotage. DEI makes it exponentially worse. There is a simple pattern. (1) A foreigner gets into a position of authority/management at an American company. (2) They then install foreigners into technological decision making and/or recruitment/hiring-manager positions. (3) From there its all down-hill, the technological decision maker creates a complex and completely unnecessary system of CI/CD, QA, revolving around mocking/testing. (4) The people writing code for (3) are all or mostly hired overseas or on h1b1. (5) Now you have an unnecessarily large team of "engineers" from overseas getting paid easily 100k-200k each. (6) Now the business has coded itself into a corner, and in the future has to hire "engineers" that write code in the same language, and "engineers" that believe in hyper CI/CD and/or QA practices that are completely unnecessary. Now the business is forced to hire more foreign engineers or h1b's to come to America, because this is where these people mostly live. Its a never ending process of instantiating unnecessary software engineering practices that caters to non-americans. Businesses will even train all of these foreign engineers to do the job. How come they don't train Americans to do these jobs? Because the objective is to move money out of country. DEI makes the problem so much worse. Now businesses have an excuse to specifically target and exclude literally white people(mostly heterosexual males) from society.
