Just as God has a purpose and an agenda for your cancer journey, so does Satan. Satan's agenda is to use your Road of Trials to make an assault on God's character. Satan wants you to stop trusting God, focus on the pain, and lose hope. Once you lose hope, your chances of survival are very low. After a heartwarming conversation with a dear friend about our cancer experiences, and what this period is teaching us, we both leaned into GRACE. But, what do we really mean by it anyway? Being in a support group can be so beneficial for your healing journey. It's a safe space where you can connect with others who understand what you're going through and offer support and encouragement. We love hearing feedback from our participants at the Healing Garden, like this one: “The post-treatment support group gives me the chance to be with people who really understand what a diagnosis of cancer means. We don’t all have the same cancer or experiences, but we lean on and learn from each other as we try to navigate the chaotic and often bumpy road of cancer and survivorship.” If you're struggling with a difficult situation, we encourage you to consider joining a support group. It can make all the difference in your healing journey. 💜
