We are excited to share the data from the last several months! Please see the attached poster presented by Dr. Jennifer Moffat at #ICAR2024 in Australia. MTP, in both powder and gel form, has been shown to be effective against VZV (Shingles) in human skin organ culture. Remarkably, it even works after day 3. Our broad-spectrum antiviral activity against enveloped viruses has been confirmed in multiple models of VZV. We eagerly anticipate the next steps in this research! #ICAR2024 #ISAR #AntiViralResearch #VyraMed #Fettech #MTPgel

Small colony variants (SCVs) of pathogens such as Staphylococcus, MRSA, VRE, E. coli, and Pseudomonas are a concern due to their ability to evade detection and cause persistent infections. SCVs are characterized by their reduced size, altered metabolic activity, and the ability to hide within host tissues. Current diagnostic methods may not effectively identify SCVs, emphasizing the need for improved testing protocols and increased awareness among healthcare professionals to prevent and manage infections caused by these elusive bacterial variants. To learn more about SCVs and their relation to biofilm and medical devices, tune in here: https://lnkd.in/g8cVsUaS #TransmissionControl #InfectionPrevention #SCVs #Pathogens

we usually confirm a diagnosis of brucellosis by testing blood or bone marrow for the brucella bacteria or by testing blood for antibodies to the bacteria. To help detect complications of brucellosis, your doctor may order additional tests, including: X-rays. X-rays can reveal changes in your bones and joints

Feline Cardiac Troponin I (fcTnI) Test Kit Cardiac troponin is a marker of myocardial injury, with higher specificity and sensitivity than general tests. When myocardial cells are damaged, troponin will be degraded from myocardial fibers and enter the blood, so an increase in its concentration can indicate myocardial injury. Using fluorescent quantitative immunochromatography to detect the cTnI concentration in cats, the test results can be obtained in 10 minutes, which helps to quickly diagnose the disease.#vet #petmedical #petdiagnosis

Does TB heal?
Does TB heal completely? Active, drug-sensitive TB disease is treated with a standard 6-month course of 4 antimicrobial drugs that are provided with information, supervision, and support to the patient by a health worker or trained volunteer. The vast majority of TB cases can be cured when medicines are provided and taken properly. How to get started; The Xpert MTB/RIF assay is a nucleic acid amplification (NAA) test that uses a disposable cartridge with the GeneXpert Instrument System. A sputum sample is collected from the patient with suspected TB. Come do your test here at Nyumbani Diagnostic Lab at an affordable rate as you start your treatment and race toward complete recovery. #alwayssurewithus
