really starts giving you an insight into the value of our INCLUDE project
Thank you to Will Chidlow for capturing OutSingCancer choir's INCLUDE event last week so well - if you want a flavour of the events we have been holding across the country, here you go! 🎶 These events, the connections and actions that come out of them would not be possible without Arts Council England funding the Making Music: INCLUDE programme. Thank you! https://lnkd.in/e-53Buid

Music can empower and inspire people to work in unison. At times it is a great source of promoting peace and preventing conflict.
WHAT ADVICE WOULD YOU GIVE YOUNG BOYS/ MEN of Color who are LEARNING ABOUT MUSIC AND PEACEKEEPING through a RITE OF PASSAGE? Today during our lesson, our middle/ high school aged artists discussed their PARADIGM (how they VIEW the world)… Their responses were both comfortable and uncomfortable… Would LOVE to Hear some Advice from the Village to share with them! 🙏🏼💞 The West Philadelphia String Music & Mentorship Program! #Music #Peace #Progress

When she introduced me to a new piece, she would first play it to help me feel its character. She’d let images flow in my mind and even ask me to draw something based on its theme. We would often play the piece together, four hands on the piano. The joy I feel recalling those moments is so vivid. Now, thinking about our presence here on LinkedIn, I wonder—what are the images that flow through your mind when you think of this space? How do you envision your community here, beyond impressions and likes? What truly excites you? What I love most about my community, about you, my dear friends, is how your presence inspires others—including me—to be more creative, to share our work, celebrate small wins, and embrace lessons learned. Today, instead of sharing advice on community building, I’d love to simply listen to you. 𝘏𝘰𝘸 𝘤𝘢𝘯 𝘐 𝘣𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 𝘠𝘰𝘶? Please feel free to share in the comments so we can join hands and shape our community together.💜 #TechNetwork #CommunitySupport #TogetherWeThrive #WomenInTech

I'm taking the leap! After years of self-doubt, I'm finally stepping into the music industry and I'm so excited to share my journey with you all. In my new series, #WalkWithMe, I'll document the highs and lows, the struggles and triumphs, of making it in the music world. My first article, "My Love and Hate for Music," is an honest look at the passion and frustration that fuels this artistic fire. Whether you're a fellow aspiring artist, a music industry veteran, or just a music lover, I'd love for you to join me on this adventure. Check out the article on Medium and let me know what you think!
