A new era for carbon accounting 🐖 🚜 We're pleased to have provided guidance to producers within the latest edition of Pig World Magazine , with Dr Emily Pope explaining how Defra’s recent report marks a new era for carbon accounting. "Understandably, from the viewpoint of farmers, there remains a degree of scepticism regarding carbon accounting," Emily explains. “But this report offers much-needed clarity, enabling farmers to make informed choices about which tools to use. “I would urge farmers to leverage the insights provided to take control. With mounting pressure from retailers and processors on pig farmers to document their carbon footprint, it's an issue that can’t be overlooked."
