Great to be a part of An Audience with Tom Aikens yesterday, talking about what’s in store for our industry in 2024. While our industry has worked hard to bounce back from the pandemic, staffing shortages remain a huge challenge. One of the best things about working in hospitality is that you can join at any stage of life - something which we have seen in evidence at The Wolseley Hospitality Group. As an industry we should be considering this when we are faced with staffing challenges - how can we encourage a broader demographic entering the hospitality industry? At TWHG 83% of employees are aged between 22-50 with over 50s making up 12% of employees. We are really proud to have such a broad age range working with us.
