It's Mental Health Awareness Week. It’s a chance to get proactive and highlight just how important our mental health is. Crucially, it will also encourage anyone who might need support right now to seek help. This year’s Mental Health Awareness theme is “Movement: Moving more for our mental health”. At Walker Cole International, we prioritise fostering an environment where our team members can thrive as their best selves. As part of this commitment, we provide comprehensive private healthcare coverage to all employees. This offering extends to subsidised gym memberships, ensuring our team has access to physical wellness resources. Additionally, our healthcare plan includes direct access to mental health support and professionals, further emphasizing our dedication to supporting the holistic well-being of our employees. #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealthmatters #mentalhealthawarenessweek #mentalhealthfoundation #team #walkercoleinternational

As we observe World Mental Health Day, let's remember that mental well-being is a fundamental part of a healthy life. At ACG, our values of Caring, Collaborative, and Progressive guide us in building a workplace where mental health is openly discussed and prioritized. By fostering caring conversations around mental health, we create a space where associates feel supported. Through collaboration, we can break the stigma, encourage one another to seek help, and be there for our colleagues. And with a progressive mindset, we continually improve our wellness initiatives, such as our external counselling support, so everyone has the resources they need. Taking care of yourself is vital - whether it’s setting aside “me” time for hobbies or seeking out professional support. At ACG, we’re committed to making wellness a priority through both self-care and community care. Let’s join together in making mental health as important as physical health - because you are never alone, and it’s okay to ask for help. #WorldMentalHealthDay #MentalHealthMatters #WorkplaceWellness #CaringCollaborativeProgressive

If your company doesn't offer much for mental health, that's okay! You can lead the way by doing little things to change the culture: 🌟 Share thought-provoking, introspective content in meetings and conversations 🌟 Be vulnerable and share when you're struggling and how you're coping 🌟 Let your team members be themselves, even when having a hard time at work or at home Programs like Spirence can help change workplace culture, and so can you!

October is National Mental Health Month, which is aimed to improve community awareness and understanding of mental health and wellbeing. This is an opportunity to encourage everyone to talk about mental health and to reach out to those around us to check in. Our research and focus groups have told us that a critical element to supporting people in our workplaces comes from our managers. Do you have a team underneath you? When was the last time you really checked in on your people and asked them how they are really doing? People experiencing mental health are less likely to raise it to their managers without them creating an environment that encourages it. We are on a journey to improve and Wellness in Infrastructure is working hard in the background to support projects, companies in helping create more positive healthy workplaces so that the industry can thrive. If you ever wondered who are on the WII Board and why they joined, stay tuned for some videos to come this month and to learn more about them! Prof. The Hon. May was Mental Health Awareness Month. Recognizing the interconnectedness between physical and mental health, we launched a 'Move to Improve' campaign for our community of caregivers (our employees), encouraging them to become more physically active and support each another to achieve their wellness goals. Our caregivers also tapped into our mental health and wellness resources for tools and services to prioritize their mental health and that of their loved ones. Watch the video below to see more about how we prioritize mental health in the workplace. #NoOneCaresAlone #MentalHealthAwarenessMonth
