https://lnkd.in/egE6hYNT I've been experimenting with AI video since before it was even a thing- using AI imagery within traditional animation workflows. But now the age of full on AI created video is upon us. The immediate thing that strikes me is that the AI is incredibly good at fluid simulation and volumetric effects, which would be very expensive to simulate and render in traditional 3-D programs. Once somebody creates a way to seamlessly integrate real video with AI, and I can just say to my phone, take the latest video from my camera and have green goo pour into the scene, or add a dragon breathing fire, or remove my reflection from the mirror, or whatever, and my AI voice assistant will actually make it happen, we will really democratize animation and creating VFX in moving images for better or worse. I predict that will happen by the end of this year on a phone app.
