Switch to compact brilliance 🤏 The new range of contactors from our partners at Lovato Electric are mini marvels. Since size is mattering more and more in control panel engineering, the 3-pole BF265, BF330 & BF400 contactors are breaking the size barrier as they are just 140mm wide. The new contactors have an electronically controlled AC/DC coil for greatly reduced consumption and a wide nominal voltage range (e.g. just one coil for 100…250V AC/DC), which ensures operation without uncertainness, even under strongly varying supply voltage conditions. The low profile front-mounted auxiliary contacts enable quick and easy wiring. Up to 6 contacts can be mounted on the 3-pole contactors, and up to 8 on the 4-pole contactors. In addition, up to 8 contacts can be mounted on the side faces. A horizontal mechanical interlock mounts flush between the two contactors without increasing the assembly’s overall dimensions. The interlock is also available in a vertical version.

Seeing the Problem with LED’s - The Case for Fuse Failure Indication If you think about Electrical Design for a moment, one must consider troubleshooting a major part of the design process. To be able to quickly discern the condition of the system and its components is something often overlooked and not thought about clearly in the beginning of the project scope. The case for fuse failure indicators is very clear - if the LED is illuminated, the fuse is blown and the circuit has a malfunction. How easy was that? We didn't even have to measure anything with a multimeter - we looked inside the junction box! Now that the circuit has been identified very quickly, we can get to work and find the culprit! Helping to save time in troubleshooting is a design feature - a feature customers will pay dearly for and your technicians will thank you for ! Neon lights are also used in fuse failure indicators due to their compact design and low voltage operation. American Electrical, Inc (AEI) has several types of fuse holders with fuse failure indication - from 5x20mm and 5x25mm fuses, 1 ¼” x ¼” , 1 ½” x 13/32” fuses all the way up to 2”x ½” fuse types - up to 50 amps ! Click below or call us at 804.379.2899 for more information: https://lnkd.in/eV7RAadr Learn more: What's an LED? An LED, or Light-Emitting Diode, is a semiconductor device that emits light when an electric current passes through it. The term "diode" refers to its semiconductor nature, which allows current to flow in one direction only. LEDs are widely used for various lighting applications due to their energy efficiency, durability, and compact size. Typically, an LED only requires 0.7 VDC to operate, making it a nice low power option for most electronic designs. How does the fuse failure LED work? The LED is electrically connected to both sides of the fuse being monitored. When the circuit is in proper operation, the same voltage is measured on each side of the fuse. If the fuse blows, one side has the supply voltage and the other has zero making a differential voltage across the fuse, lighting the LED. Please SHARE ! Follow AEI for more ! Non-isolated driver There is a direct electrical connection between the input side and the output side, forming a direct current loop. Usually the input side and output side of the driver have a common ground. Efficiency: high conversion efficiency, 3%-5% higher than isolated driver Circuit: simple circuit design few components and high reliability Volume: low calorific value, simple structure and small product size Cost: relatively low cost Safety: more damage to the load after driver abnormality Output voltage range: no isolation transformer, suitable for output high voltage and small current Aluminum substrate: requires 2kv withstand voltage, high voltage output has high requirements on the aluminum substrate

Both the VS1 and ZN85-40.5 vacuum circuit breakers utilize similar principles and materials in their design. The tulip contact, contact arm, fixed contact, bracket, outlet, conductive rod and other copper components are essential for ensuring reliable operation, low resistance electrical connections, and durability in medium voltage applications. These components are designed to handle high currents and mechanical stresses, making them critical for the safe and efficient operation of electrical systems.

Click here to learn more: https://lnkd.in/eAY-TFx7 AEI also offers a Wire Duct Cutter !! Click below to see: https://lnkd.in/eixwssY4 What is wire duct? Wire duct, also known as cable duct or cable trunking, is a protective channel designed to organize and manage cables in various settings such as control enclosures and junction boxes. Here are some benefits to using wire duct: Cable Organization: Wire duct keeps wires and cables in a neat and orderly arrangement. It allows you to separate and categorize different types of wires/cables, which makes it easier to identify, trace, and manage them. Protection: One of the primary purposes of wire duct is to protect cables from physical damage, such as crushing, abrasion, or impact. Safety: Wire duct can enhance safety by reducing the risk of electrical hazards. Enclosed cables are less likely to be accidentally touched or damaged, lowering the chance of electrical shock or fire. Maintenance and Accessibility: Wire duct provides easy access to cables when maintenance or repairs are necessary. This accessibility simplifies troubleshooting and upgrades without the need to disassemble the entire cable system. Aesthetics: In addition to functionality, wire duct contributes to a clean and professional appearance. Compliance: In certain industries and applications, there are regulations and standards regarding cable management and installation. Using wire duct can help you comply with these standards, ensuring the safety and reliability of your electrical or data systems. Heat Dissipation: In some cases, wire duct with ventilation slots or other cooling features can help dissipate heat generated by cables. This is important for preventing overheating, especially in applications with a high density of cables or in confined spaces. #wireduct #duct #cablemanagement #controls #automation #manufacturing #wireductcutter #electrical #engineering #enclosure
