At SeeMeCV, we recognise the critical role that both physical and virtual interactions play in driving customer success. On Day 1 of the NTU Job-In Fair 2024, the NTU Career & Attachment Office launched their highly anticipated hybrid career fair. Our Customer Success team was onsite, not only to provide technical advice but also to guide employers in optimising their virtual presence. By doing so, we ensured their booths were not just visible, but truly engaging, driving more traffic and fostering deeper connections. This event exemplifies the power of a hybrid approach: offering students the invaluable opportunity for face-to-face engagement with employers while leveraging the efficiency of digital tools, such as the easy sharing of CVs through the virtual platform. This combination allows students to focus on building relationships and exploring opportunities, while employers benefit from streamlined processes and wider reach. The key takeaway is clear—when physical and virtual experiences are thoughtfully integrated, they amplify each other, leading to higher engagement and better outcomes for all parties involved. We’re excited to see the careers that will be launched and the success stories that will emerge from this event. It was a day filled with excitement, hope, and endless possibilities as our talented students embarked on their journey toward building fulfilling careers. From the moment the doors opened, the atmosphere was electric. Booths from numerous esteemed companies, both big and small, were set up, ready to meet our eager students. The fair was not just a platform for job opportunities but a space where students could network, gain insights, and gather invaluable advice from industry experts. We were thrilled to witness our students engaging confidently with potential employers, showcasing their skills, and seizing the opportunities presented to them. Their determination and enthusiasm were truly inspiring. A special thank you goes out to the organizing committee whose hard work and dedication made this event possible. The meticulous planning, coordination, and effort they put in were evident in every aspect of the fair. It was heartwarming to see our community come together to support the future leaders of tomorrow. In the words of one of our students, "The FMF Career Fair was a turning point for me. Nust career fair bridges education-employment gap: With the aim of bridging the gap between education and employment, the Namibia University of Science and Technology Annual Career Fair showcases a diverse lineup of local and international companies across various industries. The career fair is taking place on 17 and 18 April, and will showcase companies and organisations such as Dundee Precious Metals, Namibia Investment and Promotional Development Board, and First National Bank Namibia, among others, while also including various faculties from the university. Multimedia practitioner at Nust, Nadia Meding says that the career fair is a transformative opportunity for the youth to ignite their passion and shape their future paths. “In today’s fast-paced world, success is more than just about grades, it’s about connections, insights and seizing the right opportunities,” Meding said. According to Meding, the career fair provides a platform for learners to engage with industry experts to explore diverse career paths. The fair also allows learners an opportunity to gain valuable insight into the changing job market. She says that exposing learners to various career paths allows the youth to make informed decisions about their careers. Graduate metallurgist at Dundee Precious Metals, Candice Salkunga, says that one of the values of Dundee is to empower communities and the youth. “Such events are all about exposure. The more you expose them (young people) to different things, the easier it gets for them to pick out what they want to do for the rest of their lives,” Salkunga said. She added that engagement of companies with young people allows them to interact with industry experts and learn more about the fields. Speaking on the same platform, National Youth Services corporate affairs and marketing manager, Belinda Hamburee, said that their presence at the Namibian University of Science and Technology Annual Career Fair is to help equip the youth for their future. “The reason why we are here is because we are sharing information with the youth to prepare them for their future,” Hamburee said. According to Hamburee, the NYS application for the 15th intake is open and used the platform provided by the career fair to engage students on the opportunities available. Let’s take a moment to look back what we have been doing so far. #1 Major and Career Fair “M&C Fair” is an annual educational fair organized by FUSAAC since 2009 with a purpose to serve as a platform where high school students and university freshmen receive substantial information to make important decision on choosing the right major and building a good career paths via the physical fairs in order to help them make decisions for their higher education journey and career path. M&C fair helps to guide student to get to know available majors in university through online videos and podcasts or small-scale workshops with partner universities. Besides that, it also helps to guide student to explore available career by the professionals and expert in each field through small-scale workshop and talkshow where students could get to know more about career and profession and career development. Very short, but full of bright moments trip to Austria 🇦🇹 First of all, I met my colleague Hana Krsul live. And today we had quite a busy day at TU Graz. Of course, at the career fair we spoke a lot about our products, company and job opportunities in Austria and Germany. But also some of the students asked us to share our opinion on certain topics regarding the application process and we’ve heard some unusual tips they were said to do while applying. It’s all about yesterday (20th December 2024)... We participated in the Career and Guidance Fair organized by SDSM SCHOOL FOR EXCELLENCE, Sidghora, for 9-12std students. Our main motive for this career fair is to introduce students to several careers, share the roadmap to achieve those career goals, and make them decide the career of their choice.  In the world of marketing, we focused on getting in touch with students, guiding them, and making them feel confident in their choice. But in all of these, connecting with their interests and desires makes us realize that we should focus on selling the solutions to the problems by connecting emotionally, and in all of these, your past stories and experiences play a vital role. We, as a part of the No. 1 institute in India, iQuanta, explained students that if you want to become a successful person in your life, then early preparation is really important.  THERE IS NO TOMORROW; START WORKING ON YOUR DREAM FROM TODAY.  Kyunki abhi ni to kabhi nhi……..
