🤝💜 Standing Together Against #Violence November 25 marks the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, a day dedicated to raising awareness and advocating for change. In collaboration with the association Vivere Donna, we are proud to launch a special initiative aimed at promoting understanding and support for this critical issue. This year, we’re introducing bookmarks featuring the 4 alarm bells of a violent relationship. Each bookmark includes a QR code linking important resources, including a phone number for reporting violence. Let’s unite in #solidarity and spread the message that NO form of violence is acceptable! #WAMGROUP #EndViolenceAgainstWomen #VivereDonna #NoExcuse

Violence is a difficult topic, our minds instinctively want to run away from it. However, we must acknowledge that women’s rights are facing setbacks. We can each contribute by: 1) Staying informed about injustices against women. 2) Taking care of our mental health to support others. 3) Understanding that progress takes time; stay hopeful and don’t be discouraged by setbacks 🌻. #GenderEquality #AdvocacyForChange #EndGenderBasedViolence #OrangeTheWorld

Today is Day 4 of the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence. Let's all do our part to end violence against women. Here are some simple ways you can make a difference: 1. Speak up when you see harassment or abuse happening. Don't stay silent. 2. Challenge victim-blaming attitudes - no one deserves to be abused. 3. Learn about the signs of abuse so you can recognize it and offer support. 4. Volunteer at local shelters or organizations. 5. Advocate for laws and policies that protect and empower women. Together, we can create a safer world for all. Join the movement to end gender-based violence. #16DaysOfActivism #EndGenderBasedViolence #WomenHub #16DaysOfActivism2024

Today marks the beginning of the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence, a global campaign to raise awareness and take action to end violence against women and girls. This year, the theme being: #NoExcuse: Unite to End Violence Against Women this Winter. We call for collective accountability and action to prevent abuse and its devastating consequences. Femicide is the intentional killing of women because they are women, and continues to claim lives worldwide, leaving families and communities shattered. As we light candles and hold a vigil to remember those who have been killed by violence and abuse, let us also renew our commitment to building a society where safety, dignity, and respect are rights, not privileges. There is no excuse for violence. Together, we can end it. #16Days #NoExcuse #EndFemicide #16DaysofActivism
