People often ask me, "What does a TVC producer do, anyway?" And my response is usually met with a puzzled expression. Do you remember the commercial that made you laugh so hard you cried? Or the one that touched your heart and made you feel seen? I do. I'm a TVC producer, Saad Alavi and I'm proud to be part of the team that brings those moments to life. But here's the thing🥺 people often misunderstand what we do. They think we're just "ad people" who party on sets and yell "CUT!" all day😔 They don't see the late nights, the endless revisions, and the unwavering dedication that goes into creating something truly special. Myth 1: TVC producers are just business-minded. Reality: We're the guardians of the creative vision. We nurture ideas, manage budgets, and ensure projects are delivered with heart and soul. Myth 2: TVC producers aren't creative. Reality: We're the conductors of the creative orchestra. We collaborate with directors, writers, and designers to craft stories that resonate. Myth 3: TVC producers have it easy. Reality: We're the jugglers of multiple projects, tight deadlines, and demanding clients. We're the problem-solvers, the mediators, and the magic-makers. 4. You need a good budget to make ad films. I mean obviously you can hire a good crew with that budget but most importantly you really really need an excellent D.O.P and Art Director. Trust me no matter how good your scripts are; you wont get that desired output if you don't have these two top notch persons. You can manage on lot but not on these two. As a director i will say look these are my frames. The character walks in and sits here we start with a wide shot then a close up shot and etc. Now its the D.O.P who brings in the real life in those frames. I often say to my clients dekho Sir/Ma'am pura aapkey budget pe depend karta hai, jaisa budget waisa ouptut milega. Aap market mai shirt lene jaogey toh apko shirt 650 ki bhi milegi aur 6,500 ki bhi, Agar bas kam chalau chahiye toh aap pehli wali logey agar majbut tikao aur logo se tarif sunna pasand kartey ho toh dusri wali logey. Custome & Makeup 16. Executive producer & Director. 17. Filming location The major one for any studio is income generated from the content Also scheduling partner of any good content for viewers to see , should be prime time . depending on your geographical location and timing Also exclusivity right & Non exclusivity right very key to avoid lawsuit in your content slate make sure you have the following; Quarter 1 Quarter 2 Quarter 3 Quarter 4 Marketing & Publicity very key . let your Audience know what your bringing on board for entertainment. promotional materials & promos of each content in different Quarters #content
