Toyota builds a car in around 18 hours, while a Range Rover takes about 56 hours to complete. And when it’s a custom ordered vehicle, Range Rover can take between 3 to 6 months for accomplishment. Quality craftsmanship takes time, and that’s why some things are worth the wait. Success isn't about how much you do, but how well you do it. 🥇 In today's fast-paced world, the temptation to focus on quantity is high, but the real value comes from quality. ⚖️ Whether it’s building relationships, creating products, or delivering results, investing time and effort into excellence always pays off. #QualityOverQuantity #ExcellenceMatters #MindfulLeadership #QualityWork

Weekend QOTD Roundup March 09, 2024: Sometimes cars look beautiful. Sometimes cars look functional. Sometimes cars look downright ugly. And sometimes, well, cars just look dumb as hell. Of course, “dumb” is a very subjective concept, possibly even more subjective than beautiful and ugly. It’s an interesting concept in that way, and it’s what led us to our… Read more... #car #cars #awesome

I’m not a car guy. Seems ironic, considering I’m posing in front of a Cybertruck. Cars have just really been a way to get from A to B, for me. The one caveat to that is our business of real estate often judges you by the car you drive. Feel free to debate me in the comments. ‘ Moving on, despite not being a car guy…..I am a FUN guy. That is the foundation of who I am. With most things in life I just ask myself ONE question: Am I having fun right now? If the answer is no, it’s time to stop doing that. So, how does this apply to the Cybertruck? Well, I honestly thought it was pretty ugly when it was first introduced. But, the main reason I wanted it was to pull my family’s boat from lake to lake. That’s where the fun part comes in. My wife driving our boat while I’m wakeboarding behind it is how we got to a Cybertruck reservation. Now as time went on, a funny thing happened. The look of the truck started to grow on me. I started to think that the ugliness of it was FUN. I mean, we all know someone who is considered “crazy” and can also be fun, right? And I think good ol’ Elon falls into that group. I actually enjoy it when I have to explain some of the inside information about how he names his cars. If you don’t already know, the name “Plaid” on the Model S came from the term in Spaceballs, where the spaceship flew super fast. And the entire fleet of Teslas will be an acronym, which spells out “SEXY CARS”. Model S Model 3 (E) Model X Model Y Cybertruck ATV (The upcoming 4 wheeler) Roadster Semi (18 Wheeler, which will be mostly automated) That’s plenty of fun, if you ask me. I look forward to my Cybertruck delivery this year, Elon.

Member of the Board of Management of Mercedes-Benz Group AG, Chief Technology Officer, Development & Procurement
What makes a car a Mercedes-Benz? I’ve often thought about this question and while some answers lie in the countless details and innovations that we’ve introduced, for me, it boils down to one clear aspect: trust. Trust – and safety – is such a deep quality for us at #MercedesBenz and for our customers. At Mercedes-Benz, we have always pioneered vehicle safety and continuously set new technological benchmarks with our unique Real-Life Safety philosophy. And here’s the proof: In the past year, we have become the world’s first manufacturer to publicly perform a full-frontal crash-test between two electric cars – and the first automaker to X-ray a collision. The X-ray test is a significant milestone. By using ultra-short X-ray images taken at a rate of up to 1,000 per second, we are now able to scan the car during a crash test to make visible even the tiniest changes that take place at the moment of impact. Incredibly, this also includes hidden components within the vehicle or inside the crash-test dummy. These stories and many more are brought to life in our global brand campaign “Because it’s Mercedes-Benz” that’s running on our website, mercedes-benz.com, and our social media channels. I hope you enjoy the insights! #MercedesBenz #Innovation #Safety
