Behind the Scenes of the Waitrose Christmas Advert: Insights from an Executive Assistant's Perspective 🔎 Like many of you, I recently watched the Waitrose Christmas advert, and beyond the heartwarming festive magic, I saw something else: a masterclass in planning, coordination, and execution. Behind every beautiful scene—from the perfectly arranged table to the seamless transitions between joyful moments—there’s a team of people working tirelessly to ensure everything runs smoothly. It reminded me so much of what we, as Executive Assistants, do every single day. ✅ Attention to Detail: Just like the creators of the advert carefully curated every frame, EAs focus on the small details that make a big difference—from scheduling meetings with precision to organizing travel itineraries that run like clockwork. 🤝 Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Collaboration is at the heart of success, whether it’s in a festive kitchen or the boardroom. As an EA, I act as the linchpin, ensuring everyone has what they need to thrive. 🎯 Strategic Planning: The advert’s ability to evoke emotion isn’t accidental. It’s the result of meticulous planning and a clear vision. Similarly, EAs ensure that executives stay on track, focused on their goals, and ready to deliver impact. This holiday season, I’m reminded of how much magic we create—not just for our teams but for the businesses and communities we serve. Just like Waitrose brought Christmas to life, we EAs bring calm, structure, and efficiency to every workspace. What’s been your biggest "executive moment" this year that felt like pulling off Christmas magic? 🎄 #ExecutiveAssistant #Leadership #Teamwork #Christmas2024 #Efficiency

Summer is coming….. I’ve spent a lot of time and energy connecting with folks who work in #manufacturing specifically those in Eastern Wisconsin. If you’ve been getting messages from me recently this post is for you. Summer is the perfect time to tell your employees you appreciate the work they do. It’s a great time to get everyone outside to breathe in some fresh air and feel some sunshine on their skin. I want to help you with that. Longhouse Sheboygan is taking orders for employee appreciation events for summer. We have: -Mobile Axe Lanes -Mobile escape room (outdoor capable) -Catering options from $14-18 delivered and setup -Bar options (to the extent my liquor license allows) We also have very competitive pricing if I do say so myself. A $50/person budget for a 100 person company could get you quite a bit. We are a small operation that’s been scrapping pretty hard to survive since we opened in Oct 2020, when Covid was at its worst. Our survival is a testament to hard work, and I learned my work ethic in Wisconsin - where we WORK. We work hard because not working hard hardly seems worth it. Your employees work hard because their is pride in a job well done. Hard work should make you tired. Hard work should make you hungry. My homemade meals for workers speak appreciation for craft. When you want to say thank you with food, drink, and fun I’ll work my hardest to make sure your folks feel it. I don’t know how not to.

There is not a better dual-threat product manager & technical leader on the job market right now than Assel Li. From taking our Attack Surface product at SecurityScorecard to market (https://lnkd.in/eGtA2g6X), building the threat intelligence brand and trust internally at SSC before we made it public, to contributing insights on our investigations with her data science background and ability to speak multiple languages used by threat actors, Assel Li is a multi-faceted hacker (in both the product and cyber sense), versatile leader, data-driven planner, and effective communicator. Arctic Wolf will be worse off without her, but you will prosper with her on your team. #cybersecurity #threatintel #managedrisk
My employment with Arctic Wolf was terminated last week. If your team is looking to 1. Brainstorm on a strategy 2. Scale and expand into new markets and user personas 3. Have a path defined with tactics on building/buying/borrowing/de-prioritizing hit me up! P.S. my start date for full-time and part-time work is from mid-november upon returning from maternity leave

If you have ever spent time with me out and about you know I like connecting and getting to know new people. On Sunday I traveled down to the St. Pete area for work and while watching my beloved Buffalo Bills I met some locals who are in their 70s. That may be an odd descriptor to include, however, it is relevant to this story. I was invited to come back to the same beach bar last night to join them for Trivia Night. What I experienced last night was a moment that highlights exactly why senior living communities are an incredible living option. There were drinks, there were laughs, there was brain power (recalling history, films, music, and more), and most importantly there were connections. Many of the people in attendance have been going to this Trivia Night for many years. For some people it is trivia that brought them together and now they are close friends. Many look out for one another in different ways from tech support to daily check-ins. What I observed was senior living without walls. Does this put us out of business? No. It gives us opportunity. It supports that what we offer is desired. Here is another opportunity....number one question asked of me this week by many of my new friends...."What's it really like in one of those places?" Simple to answer...."Look around at what we are doing right now." Senior Living Engagement peers.....TRIVIA NIGHT IS WHERE IT'S AT! Get a professional to come in and facilitate it. Tell Sales and Marketing so they can include prospects. Tell residents to invite their friends. Tell Dining to have a fun drink special (and yes charge for those drinks). Boost your brain, boost your bonds, boost your brand, boost your bottom line. I'll step off my soapbox now. But only for a moment. What do you think? #lifeenrichment #residentengagement #seniorliving #wellness #trivia

Our little Jeffrey, at the ripe old age of 7, has the prestigious job of napkin and silverware duty at meal times. It's like having our very own miniature butler! And he takes his role very seriously, let me tell you. But it's not just Jeffrey who's on the housework brigade. Oh no, each of our kids has their own special chore to handle during meal times. It's a regular household boot camp around here! I mean, we've got 3-year-old Sadie as the table setter extraordinaire, while 6-year-old Lester is the official floor sweeper. And our littlest, 2-year-old Glen, is in charge of handing out the cups. We've got the whole squad working together like a well-oiled machine! Listen, it's never too early to get them involved in household tasks, and it's a win-win situation. They're learning responsibility, and we're getting a little extra help around the house. Plus, it makes for some pretty entertaining meal times—I should start charging for this entertainment! So, next time you think about assigning chores to your little ones, go for it! It's not just about getting help with the housework, it's about nurturing their independence and making family responsibilities fun... and slightly competitive. I am thankful to have the ability to create passive daily pay in 2 hour days so I can enjoy my family meal time. What would you love to be doing with your family? Comment "family" below if you would like to get more details on how you can create passive income to enjoy your life to its fullest. #sidehustle #sahm #passiveincome #onlinemarketing #mindset #businessowner #mompreuner #parents
