New Year's resolutions and library cards go together perfectly. Libraries are packed full of resources that people can use to achieve their 2024 goals. Someone who wants to improve their fitness, for example, can access fitness videos on Kanopy, listen to music during workouts using the Freegal app, and attend yoga classes at Pikes Peak Library District. Anyone resolving to learn a new skill or hobby can take advantage of no-cost LinkedIn Learning courses, borrow hobby and DIY books, or attend related Library programs. For resolutions to learn new skills for work or personal projects, Library users should use their library card to access no-cost video tutorial courses on LinkedIn Learning. There, they can learn computer and software skills, business skills, leadership skills, and creative skills. Someone with a goal of saving money will be able to use their library card to save. They might borrow books, eBooks, and audiobooks instead of buying every book they plan to read. Between meetings, keeping the kids entertained, endless snack runs, and my role as the official Mum Taxi, it's been non-stop. As a creative, inspiration tends to strike at the least convenient times. With all the back-and-forth to tennis clinics, swimming squads and ninja camps, I've realised my creative process has a bit of a gap. It includes client management, messaging, and the ability to schedule programs for up to several years in advance. Plus, we have some exciting features still in the pipeline! I genuinely believe this platform will be a game-changer in the fitness industry, offering a seamless experience for both trainers and clients.
