The ICC has made significant changes to playing conditions. Umpires will now only use side-on replays for stumping in DRS referrals, excluding caught-behind situations. Teams must now use a separate DRS option for caught-behind appeals in stumping scenarios. Additionally, the ICC clarified the concussion replacement rule, stating that if the substituted player couldn't bowl during the concussion incident, the replacement player is not allowed to bowl. The on-field injury assessment and treatment time have also been limited to a maximum of four minutes. An ICC representative mentioned that these changes aim to improve clarity and fairness in the decision-making process and speed up the pace of international cricket matches, along with the introduction of Stop Clock. Wishing the best of luck to our teams for the upcoming matches! . . #ICCnews #Cricketnews #cricketnewsinternational #internationalsports #sportsenthusiast #sportlove #cricketlove #teamindia #cricketteams #happinesssport #ICC #Uptodatewithsports #energetic #NipulKeniya #cricket #cricketindia #cricketnewsindia #cricketcurrentaffairs

To the Cricket Association and governing bodies, ensure district-level and grassroots leagues, as well as local tournaments, provide fundamental facilities for players, including clean water and adequate drinking facilities, as a prerequisite for hosting cricket tournaments. While professional success and performance are vital, players' well-being and family take precedence, underscoring that esteemed cricketers' lives are more valuable than the sport itself. #avoid #cricketfever #cricketlovers #cricketnews #District #cricket #bcci #bcciindiancricket #AntiCorruptionMovement

Origin of Cricket: A Brief History: Nex News Network: Eps-11 www.nexnews.org Cricket, believed to have originated in the southeastern region of England, specifically Kent and Sussex, traces its documented history back to the late 16th century. While there are various theories surrounding its inception, the earliest written reference dates back to the end of the 16th century. Some speculate its roots in France or Flanders, with the first known mention in 1300 when future King Edward II played "creag and other games" in Westminster and Newenden. The term "creag" possibly evolved into "cricket," though experts suggest it initially meant "merriment and play." Initially a children's game, cricket gradually gained popularity among adults in the early 17th century. The game likely evolved from ball games, with bowlers attempting to prevent batsmen from hitting the ball towards their target. Early equipment included a sheep's woolen ball, possibly a shepherd's crook or a small wooden piece as a bat, and a paddock or a tree stump as a wicket. #CricketHistory #CricketOrigins #SportsHistory #EnglandSports #Kent #Sussex #KingEdwardII #MedievalGames #SportingHeritage #BritishSports #GameEvolution #HistoricalSports #EarlyCricket #CricketEvolution #BatandBall #SportsOrigins #VintageSports #ChildrensGames #SportsDevelopment #AthleticTraditions #MerrimentandPlay

Skipper Mitchell Marsh could face a ban if Australia manipulates Scotland's result to knock out England. Australia would risk losing Mitchell Marsh for up to two matches if they were to deliberately manipulate a result to help Scotland qualify for the #T20WorldCup Super Eights over England 😯 He could be charged under Article 2.11 of the ICC's code of conduct, which is designed to prevent the manipulation of games for "inappropriate strategic or tactical reasons… such as when a team deliberately loses a pool match in an ICC Event in order to affect the standings of other teams in that ICC Event." The code of conduct clarifies it could also apply to "the inappropriate manipulation of a net run rate" and the captain would be held responsible, and charged with a Level Two offence. Depending on the severity of the offence, this could carry a minimum sanction of a 50% match fee fine, with a maximum of four demerit points and two suspension points - which would rule Marsh out of Australia's first two Super Eight matches. #cricketnews #cricket #icc #aus
