Integrity is non-negotiable.
Award winning broadcaster, best-selling author & speaker l Translating complex economic, political & business concepts into engaging, understandable & humorous narratives for organisations
A man walks down a beach and sees thousands of starfish washed up. It will not be long before they will all be dead. As he walks along the waterline, he occasionally bends over, picks one up and gently puts it back in the water. “What are you doing?” asks a bemused passer-by. “Why are you wasting your time? There is no way you can save all of them.” “Ah,” says the man, bending over to scoop up yet another starfish, “but I can help this one. Once it is back in the water, it will have to fend for itself. But at least it has a chance.” Back in the 1980s, the trade union movement had a wonderful mantra: “Each one, teach one.” If you were lucky enough to have an education, it was beholden on you to share your gift with others. In our often uncertain and unpredictable world, it’s easy to feel like our actions are just a drop in the ocean. But remember the man and the starfish. Each gesture of integrity, no matter how seemingly insignificant, casts ripples that can extend far beyond our immediate view. Integrity, in its essence, is about doing the right thing, even when no one is watching - even when it seems like it won’t make a dent in the grand scheme of things. It’s about making choices that align with your core values, not because you’re seeking recognition or reward, but because it’s fundamentally who you are. In business, as in life, integrity is non-negotiable. It’s the foundation upon which trust is built and sustained. It’s what defines your character, shapes your reputation, and, ultimately, dictates your success. That’s why it’s my 5th ‘Rule of Success’. For more insights on the indispensable role of integrity in achieving success and how to embody this crucial value in both professional and personal spheres, explore my keynote talks below. https://lnkd.in/gdgADEhV #Integrity #CourageousCulture #Trust #BusinessInsights #BruceWhitfield

Businesses should think about things they need to talk about again and again during the sales or onboarding process, and then consider how putting that on video can help to save costs and make things more consistent and polished. The Sugarman Of Vermont, LLC needed a video to tell their story (and the broader story of maple) to restaurants and sales teams around the country. Video to the rescue! #commercialvideo #videography #businessvideo #vermontstories #vermontbusiness
