Face plant. On the debate, not unlike so many competitors, the favorite was flat. Trump prevailed on presentation despite his litney of falsehoods. Biden prevailed on content, however, his overriding presentation rendered his responses relatively incoherent and ineffective. It's not time to panic buy concerns now have a place in the 2024 presidential election. We ought now underestimate the underdog, Joe Biden. Our President has been here before. Remember when his campaign appeared to be on life support right before his second wind kicked in and he became the best President in the history of the United States of America. Perhaps the time was right for a gut check. The 2024 election is too critical to the survival of democracy. Donald J. Trump is incapable of delivering the truth, that much was clear. But were the string of falsehoods enough for voters to recognize the extreme dangers a second Trump presidency would represent. No doubt, as in the first 'Rocky' movie, Rocky took his opponent's best shots. We all know how that ended. We're in the champ's corner. Pick him up, wipe off the blood, pour water over his head, shake his gloves, ask him if he's ok and when he affirms, let him leave his corner seat to finish his opponent. It's never a good idea to get too comfortable, Democrats didn't lose, they definitely learned. The lesson will serve the President and his party well into the future. When over 70 percent of voters believe you can’t keep up with the job based on what they’ve seen, there’s no realistic path to victory by insisting otherwise. Biden's disastrous performance at the debate was followed by White House aides claiming he was temporarily impeded by a cold. Horsepucky. If he had a cold, why did he go to a Waffle House afterward and shake hands with all the patrons? If that was just an off night, why hasn’t Biden held a televised news conference? His first lengthy, on-camera sit-down interview will come Friday — more than a week later — with ABC News’s George Stephanopoulos. We all know why Biden doesn’t do lengthy press conferences: it’s because he can’t. What we saw on Thursday night is now par for the course for him. What we saw from Biden last week — and his general minimal appearances since then — affirm that we have an administration full of Edith Wilsons. Biden is not mentally or physically capable of doing the job anymore. Harris is. A braver Democratic Party would recognize the undeniable with Biden and nominate Harris. This is a dark, perhaps catastrophic moment in public life, spurred by a majority of Republicans who desired a third Trump campaign and an almost 82-year-old man who should have known better but is blinded by his own ego and inner circle. Let’s not sleepwalk into another Trump Presidency We are living in 2023 as if the pandemic, the realitytv presidency, or the insurrection and 3 year long denial of the peaceful transfer of power never happened. It’s all so terribly dated living in a USA obsessed with Taylor Swift at a Chiefs game, the “prime time” era in Colorado football, or collective sadness over which movies or TV shows we won’t see this fall following labor strikes. We are living in a world as if these were the days of The West Wing tv show, which has shown its age in the last 8 years. The stakes could not be any higher from my view as a citizen. If we in our professional, career, or daily lives and social spaces and platforms are not doing all we can to counter our spoon fed narrative that this will be another normal election cycle we are in for an incredibly rude awakening when topics like networking, salary ranges, and remote work will be the least of our worries. The former president has not conceded in three years. The fact that OBAMA actually was President of USA (such a think can never happen in Singapore where someone of color like Obama would never be given the chance to be Prime Minister of even a small country like Singapore). Meaning whether KH becomes president or not, I feel whoever chosen for the top most position in USA would be done with a lot of inclusivity and fairness, meaning America does not have a color problem, while most of Asia, Latin America and even Africa has a serious color problem. Every color is beautiful in America, and accepted and included. Even in Countries like Singapore if you would even write an article about someone of color having even a 5% chance of becoming the PM of the Country like OBAMA, you may get thrown out of the Country. Meaning America is far much more inclusive than most parts of the world towards people of color, I am not advocating that people of color should have the top most position in any country, but they should not denied that possibility if they are really a better candidate, meaning if OBAMA was given that opportunity by America and could become President in USA , however a country like Singapore that advanced, has never given anyone of color the opportunity to be Prime Minister. Meaning its clear that Singapore can never be that inclusive towards any person of color, otherwise why would USA be able to have Obama as President on the top most position, while a country like Singapore which claims to be that advanced and modern, would not ever be open to the idea of a PM being someone of color, because it has controlled its free speech and democracy. That does not work for everyone, in many parts of the world freedom of speech, even need for privacy and free-will and the right to decide my life and to be fairly recognised for my talent, hardwork and to be given fair opportunities as a person of color whose talented, is a pre-requisite for me to be happy. That may be very important to many that their talent cannot be under-valued by a country just because of their color. America is far more inclusive towards people of color, than most of the world is
