Shamika Ravi highlighted an increase in growth and economic activity at the ground level in India. "The smallest and least developed parts of the country have experienced the biggest growth since 2015, with an 18% increase in built-up area," Ravi stated. She further commented on the significant impact of disastrous policies during the second term of the UPA government, noting that private investment has suffered long-term shocks. "Private investments have faced tremendous shocks, with lasting impacts from the policies under UPA - 2," emphasized the Economic Advisory Council member to the Prime Minister.
