In collaboration with Waters Corporation, Similis Bio demonstrated an automated Protein A purification and LC-MS analysis of bioreactor samples. The goal? To screen biosimilar monoclonal antibody (mAb) candidates and compare them to the innovator product during process development. The method proved sensitive and precise, allowing quantitative assessment of N-linked oligosaccharides and other post-translational modifications (PTMs). By evaluating these quality attributes early in clone selection, biopharmaceutical organizations can reduce subsequent development costs. Oligonucleotide Characterization by Agilent 1290 Infinity II Bio LC and 6545XT AdvanceBio LC/Q-TOF Characterization of oligonucleotides requires robust analytical instrumentation and methods as well as ease-of-use data analysis tools. Agilent 1290 Infinity II Bio LC System is made of biocompatible material for use with challenging mobile phase conditions in biopharma applications. Biocompatibility mitigates non-specific sample binding to flow path and it ensures the integrity of biomolecules and robustness of the system.
