Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances, I won’t be able to attend the INSOL Europe conference in Sorrento this Thursday, where I was scheduled to speak alongside Ruud W.A. Brunninkhuis on the use of artificial intelligence and automation in financial restructuring processes. While I believe that machine learning and AI are still somewhat distant due to the case-specific nature of financial restructuring, significant progress has already been made in streamlining communication, automation of complex calculations and information sharing with stakeholders through Integrated Cloud Restructuring Application/ WHOA Workflow Systems . The cloud application is now widely used in the Netherlands to make Dutch Scheme projects (WHOA) more cost-efficient and successful. We are also eager to explore whether the cloud application can be implemented in other European jurisdictions, making restructuring plans accessible to both small and large companies.
