On Wednesday, Annabel Tiffin discussed the wider hospice funding crisis on BBC News North West Tonight.
For anyone who is not aware, like other hospices, Wigan & Leigh Hospice is a charity and only one third of our costs are funded, the rest we must raise through community fundraising, our shops and regular giving. It currently costs £18,500 a day to run the hospice and £12,000 of that must be raised with support from our local community.
