Dear #quantum community, users, and followers, We have published a new #scientificpublication in the Solid-State Electronics Journal (Volume 215, May 2024, # 108883), co-authored by Dr. Philippe Galy from STMicroelectronics (France) that illustrates some core features of our spin-qubit modeling software QTCAD®. Thank you and congratulations to our 2 authors Dr. Félix Beaudoin and Dr. Pericles Philippopoulos for the tremendous work! This collaborative work with our historic #partner demonstrates how QTCAD® can be used to obtain information about single-qubit gate fidelities in an industrially-compatible 28 nm FD-SOI device, before its fabrication. Notably, we have focused on: >>Computing electron eigenstates in the presence of an inhomogeneous magnetic field; >>Simulating Rabi oscillations using EDSR; >>Bounding the single-qubit gate fidelities by computing the leakage out of the qubit subspace. In this work, we have focused on a single-qubit device. The current version of QTCAD® (v1.3) can also simulate multi-dot systems which makes of it a truly unique tool very useful for quantum device designers and researchers. Do not hesitate to test it. Very exited to see this open-source database of superconducting quantum device designs based on #QiskitMetal from Eli Levenson-Falk and team published for the community. SQuADDS: A validated design database and simulation workflow for superconducting qubit design We present an open-source database of #superconducting #quantum device designs that may be used as the starting point for customized devices. Each design can be generated programmatically using the open-source Qiskit Metal package, and simulated using finite-element electromagnetic solvers. We present a robust workflow for achieving high accuracy on design simulations. Many designs in the database are experimentally validated, showing excellent agreement between simulated and measured parameters. Our database includes a front-end interface that allows users to generate ``best-guess'' designs based on desired circuit parameters. This project lowers the barrier to entry for research groups seeking to make a new class of devices by providing them a well-characterized starting point from which to refine their designs.

Mixed signal verification is much more than simulating information moving across the analog/digital boundary. For example, one photonics verification challenge is to connect complex digital stimulus to analog circuits interfacing to the photonics circuits.
