Posting an amazing opportunity for Rural businesses from Sustainable Connections
Do you find yourself wishing that you could be utilizing this spring sunshine to generate energy for your business? There are so many incentives available to help you adopt solar. Now is a fantastic time to get started! Especially if you own a rural business. The Rural Energy for America Program (REAP) is accepting grant applications for this round through June 30th, 2024.
Applicants can apply for grants up to 50% of the total project cost. These projects can range from generating renewable energies to making energy efficiency upgrades. Other incentives available for adopting solar include no sales tax and a 30% federal tax credit.
If you are interested, our Energy & Green Building team at Sustainable Connections can't wait to assist businesses in Whatcom, Skagit, San Juan, and Island Counties. They are here to help with REAP applications and explore incentives with Puget Sound Energy, Solarize Whatcom, and others. We want to help your farm or business with your energy goals. To learn more or sign up, drop the CEC an email at energy@sustainableconnections.org or call at 360-647-7093 x123.
This grant can be stacked with utility rebates and incentives from PSE and works for energy efficiency upgrade projects as well!
