Did you know that data center infrastructure becomes obsolete beyond ten years? After about five years, battery replacements are usually necessary due to new technology that renders old technologies irreparable. Owners often look to engineers and their expertise to analyze requirements and other standards for new, modern replacements that do not require entirely scraping previously installed infrastructure. Rosendin's engineers utilize their expertise during this project phase to devise methods of increasing total power to IT loads, deploying new tech, upgrading systems for the facility, and making informed decisions regarding replacements for other equipment. Are you Curious about how engineers get a data center up and running? Read more: https://lnkd.in/g3eV3ur8 #DataCenter #Engineering #Rosendin

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐰𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐝𝐨 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 ?? If there is Data center ? 1) Customer responsibility ? 2) Life safety ? 3) Thinking of SLA ? 4) Easy skip ? 5) Use engineering techniques ? 6) That’s not my job ? 7) I am not responsible for It ? Most of the engineer will get panic with this kind of circumstances. The only think in my mind shut down the main incommers consider notifying occupants about the potential risk, establishing a secure perimeter, implementing safety measures to mitigate hazards, and exploring alternative resources to sustain operations until the issue is resolved. I appreciate your input on handling such situations. #datacenter #datacenters #digitalinfrastructure #it #engineering #urgency #datacentersolutions #datacenterdesign

Building networks, clouds, and community; helping engineers grow; advocating for privacy and simplicity
When network engineers think of a data center, we think of fabrics and routers and switches. There is a lot more to a data center, though—there is power, building construction, environmentals, and a lot of others. What possible jobs are out there in the data center space for people who want to work in IT, but don't either want to code or build networks? Carrie Goetz, author of Jumpstart Your Career in Data Centers joins Tom Ammon and Russ White to tell us about a few, and about the importance of other careers in the data center. #networkengineering #datacenter https://lnkd.in/gkwh4gMK
