Since our founding in #1854, the creation of new #architectural masterpieces has always been at the forefront of our work. However, the #service, #maintenance, and #redesign of existing buildings and structures have also been key elements of our portfolio from the very beginning. As a result, #sustainability has been embedded in our DNA for over a century now - long before the term, as we understand and sometimes overuse it today, even existed. Last month, under far better weather conditions than today (as the photos prove), we completed a #glass #replacement at the Kunstmuseum Stuttgart. This glass cube, full of impressive art and located in the bustling pedestrian zone at the heart of Baden-Württemberg’s capital #Stuttgart, now can shine once again in its old beauty.

Back in 2015, during my first visit to the New York Guggenheim Museum, designed by the legendary Frank Lloyd Wright, I was captivated by the iconic spiral ramp. This architectural marvel serves as more than just a functional staircase; it stands as a piece of art in itself. The ramp guides visitors through the museum’s art collection along a continuous pathway, blending the experience of the exhibits with the exploration of the building’s unique design. Today, staircases are making a significant comeback in architecture and especially in #WELL buildings, not merely as means of vertical movement but as central, sculptural elements that enhance both the aesthetics and functionality of spaces. They promote social connectivity, encourage movement, and offer unique perspectives, transforming a simple ascent into an engaging journey. However, it's essential to recognize that while these architectural elements are visually and experientially enriching, they are not always inclusive. Accessibility remains a vital consideration in design. The Guggenheim’s spiral ramp is a commendable example, allowing all visitors to experience both the art and the architecture. Let's keep on creating places for everyone. Happy weekend! #architecture #accessibility #inclusivedesign #socialsustainability

Hey everyone! 🎨🏛️ I’ve recently been immersing myself in the world of modern art and architecture, and I’m utterly captivated! The boundless creativity, daring innovation, and profound impact these fields have on our lives are truly inspiring. Whether it's the chaotic splatters of Jackson Pollock, the vibrant pop art of Andy Warhol, or the evocative works of Frida Kahlo, modern art pushes the boundaries of imagination. It's not just about creating visually appealing pieces; it’s about challenging perceptions, evoking deep emotions, and sparking conversations. The use of unconventional materials, bold colors, and unique techniques transforms each piece into a powerful statement. Think of the stunning Guggenheim Museum by Frank Lloyd Wright, the iconic curves of the Sydney Opera House by Jørn Utzon, or the futuristic designs of Zaha Hadid. Modern architecture goes beyond building structures; it's about creating spaces that blend functionality with aesthetic beauty. The clean lines, minimalist designs, and innovative use of materials and space make these buildings stand out. Plus, the emphasis on sustainability and harmony with nature is incredibly forward-thinking. Here's why I think modern art and architecture are so important: Inspiration: They inspire us to think differently, to see the beauty in the unconventional, and to appreciate the creativity that surrounds us. Cultural Reflection: They reflect our society's values, struggles, and progress, offering a mirror to our collective experience. Innovation: They drive innovation, pushing the limits of what’s possible in both artistic expression and structural design. What modern art pieces or architectural marvels have left an impression on you? Have you visited any galleries or iconic buildings that took your breath away? Let’s share our experiences and celebrate the beauty of modern creativity!Drop your thoughts, favorite pieces, or photos in the comments. Can’t wait to hear your stories!#ModernArt #Architecture #Creativity #Inspiration #ArtLovers #Design #Innovation

Walking into any project designed by Zaha is an eye-opening experience. But the unbuilt Zaha Hadid building also shows her uncompromising insight. In following posts we will see some unfinished Works of Zaha Hadid Architecture Zaha is considered to be one of the most talented architects of our time, and the late architect has left a legacy that is showcased in a concentrated way in the works of her studio. These works deviated from the general architectural style and became iconic elements in the global skyline. When we explore her genius, however, we find not only indelible imprints in her built structures, but equally extraordinary creativity in her unrealized concepts; These concepts may just be too far ahead of their time. 1- 20th Century Museum, Berlin, Germany Zaha Hadid's 2016 proposal aims to revolutionise the architectural landscape of Berlin, while at the same time harmonizing it with the adjacent Neue Nationale Galerie. The ribbed structure of the 20th Century Museum uses the structural logic of natural organisms to find the lightest solution. It extends to the glass curtain wall, allowing passers-by to get a glimpse of the interior showroom. While pursuing efficiency, the proposal remains visually striking, with smooth reflective surfaces and smooth curves that demonstrate Hadid's love of exploring new spatial compositions. Eventually, this proposal was superseded by Herzog & de Meuron's design, which is expected to open in 2026. #Zaha_Hadid #20th_century_Museum #Berlin #Germany

His work visually defies Gravity. Flows like art. Makes you think just how infinite the possibilities are when it comes to design. Frank Gehry. A legend in the world of architecture. More than designing buildings; he creates art that reshapes the way we think about space. It’s always a good day to look at his work for inspiration like the Guggenheim Museum or the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Or the dancing house - just the name is enough to get an idea about how the building may look. One thing he always says that sticks with me is, "Architecture should speak of its time and place, but yearn for timelessness." And honestly, that's exactly what his work does. It’s like, when you see a Gehry building, you know it belongs to this moment in time, yet you can imagine people admiring it a hundred years from now. His designs aren’t just modern they’re future-proof, in a way. Timeless. #FrankGehry #DesignInspiration #Innovation #OfficeDesign #SereinSpaces
