Typical view of leadership is a hierarchical organization chart. But Leader is always a persona and easily can become a bottleneck. In Network instead everybody is in charge and we replace power of the few with influence of the many. How we can do this? - Remove labels barriers (functions, titles, educations, so on) - Share information and empower people among the organization, with a sufficient context everybody is more efficient. - Be nice to each other (My favorite). The unkind leader has the potential to kill a really compromise and good team. Leadership from the side is a collective effort, involving others. In this approach, the goal is to attain Co-Leadership. In the application there will be times when your Co-Leaders will be who leads, other times it will be you, or simply many of you lead together as a network.

It’s a great thought of making everyobody a leader in the organisation. How do we do it? Well there’s one easy ways to build leadership and get the most out of people. Here’s how it’s done. Give them the responsibility. Give them space. Trust them. Give them a chance or two. Don’t try to over burden people. Just give the sufficient work and ask them to do it there way. This way will get creativity and the best version out of them.

I love this message. The big takeaway is just being nice. Sure, leadership needs to take a hard stance at times, but that doesn't mean you can't be inspiring at the same time. Allow those you lead to be leaders along the way so that they may lead one day as well. #inspiringleadership

All very valid points. It’s also the teams who dedicate their lives to these people. Coaches waking up at the crack of dawn every day to train them, parents driving hours to take them to the gym, managers working tirelessly to book them fights, get them sponsors to fund them, nutritionists and dieticians who prepare their meals so that their body keeps giving when it’s pushed to the limits.
